  1. Just making sure you got my message to you about the number, I forgot to quote you on it so you would know!
  2. 480-731-8264 They should be able to give you a pretty good time line, but thy usually tell you more than it is. They told me about 1.5 semesters to wait so fall 2015 And I got accepted to fall 2014! I called Februaryish. Good luck! Where are you applying too?
  3. Thank you so much for replying! Any tips for a newbie?? What books would you recommend I get? The bundle? Or are there books you never used that were the bundle? Thank you do much.
  4. Here in AZ, you get your BSN in 16 months to 20 months at a university, And the ADN in 24 months at community colleges..
  5. Ok thank you. Lol brookdale seemed way over the top on pricing, one reason why I didn't attend that school.
  6. I was told it was around 9,000 a semester... Is this about right?
  7. Some husbands do work a 6am to 6am job out in the heat in the 114 degree weather here in AZ. Still no excuse.. But most wives are just stronger than their husbands..
  8. You can actually call the nursing hotline number and find out about how many more semesters you have to wait. I called them in January and they said about 1.7 more semesters ( so two) but I only had to wait one.
  9. It doesn't say it anymore but I think it was like 03/29/2012 8:08
  10. No problem :)... And thank you for that..
  11. Ya he's pretty worthless... I never said yes, I have a great husband, and that's neither here nor there. If I don't do it, it won't get done. That's exactly what I put in my post. If I don't cook them dinner, they won't eat. I just wanted to post saying that things get better. Trying to help someone out... But I guess I made people mad because I cook for my kids after working. And even if I didn't have a husband.. It would still need to be done. I know a lot of single moms who work three shifts in a row and still make time to cook for their kids.
  12. That's not the way she put it... And I never said I slaved in the kitchen cooking for everyone either. But I do believe my kids need a good home cooked dinner.. Not a frozen pizza. Or processed food full of sodium from a drive thru. Everyone has there own ways of doing things. I'm not judging you nor do I know you.. All I did was put my opinion in the help the person who asked the question. Just saying it does get better. But everyone's life is different.
  13. So you would let your kids starve? I didn't say I cooked for my my husband, I took care of my kids. Just because you have long shifts... Doesn't mean you forget about your kids... Or don't take care of them...
  14. It gets easier with the husband.. At least for me it did. I'm not a nurse but I'm a cna and I work three 14s in a row.. At first he was so mad that I was working all day.. And didn't understand how much I did and that I was on my feet the entire time. I would come home to a messy house, the kids still needing dinner, and baths. But I just did it. I mean you have to do what you have to do... Trying to get someone to understand won't happen... I'm sure it will get easier on you.. And hopefully he will eventually be more helpful and see how hard you truly are working! But all the nurses here understand! I hope that makes the situation better... :)
  15. We got this!!
  16. Ya that doesn't sound bad... But my employer will pay for me to get my BSN once I have my associates degree in nursing. So I think I might just wait! Where did you say you were going to go?
  17. So I was accepted I to this program! And have been trying to find other people accepted as well. Or even someone who has done the weekend/night program? How was the schedule? How was the whole program? Thanks!
  18. I'm not doing the CEP, lol I waited the full 2.5 years on the waiting list! But I think I might look into the CEP but I'm not really sure how it works.. Do you? Or anyone else
  19. Me too... But luckily I was already accepted for Glendale community college and I was going to choose GCU over it, but now that I didn't get accepted I'm headed to GCC. It's way way less... And my work will pay for me to get my BSN completely. So I guess it works out. Where are you going to? Do you know what alternate number you are?
  20. Thanks.. And yes it sucks.. But luckily I was already accepted into the nursing program at Glendale community college.. So I'm still starting this august just going to take me a bit longer to get my BSN. They are going to tell me sometime this up coming week what number I am on the alternate list.
  21. So glad I'm not the only one.. Ugh I hate all this waiting... Again!! What location did you apply for?
  22. So I was chosen as an alternate.. (. Is that like a nice way of saying I wasn't accepted?
  23. They are pretty neat huh?
