  2. Hi lllenjolll, I just want to ask if you already took your TOEFL exams for RN endorsement purposes. I think we're on the same boat. I passed my NCLEX-RN in Hawaii but I live here in Everett, WA. I'm currently processing my endorsement and DOH requires me to take TOEFL exam. I don't have concurrency issue with them, at least not that I know. Correct me if I wrong, that your Speaking section is 23 on your first try, right? Did the DOh accept your TOEFL score even it is not 26 or they ask you for retake? hope to hear from you, thanks

  7. hi i just want to share my experience about endorsement of my license from hawaii to washington state. I'm currently residing here in Everett, WA, last year me and my husband decided to live in hawaii but for some personal reasons we decided to stay here in WA. But back then i already had my ATT so i carry on and took my first nclex-rn exam last month and i passed it. I got my BSN degree from Philippines. Today I called the WA BON to inquire about endorsement and they ask me to take TOEFL because i never worked as an RN in any state in the US because i just recently passed the test. So meaning even i passed the NCLEX i still need to comply the foreign educated nurses requirement which is the TOEFL. So can anyone here can give any tips how can i prepare for toefl and pass it right away? thanks
  8. Good day everyone! I love reading to this website and I can't deny that it helps me a lot in my NCLEX-RN journey. I took my first NCLEX-RN exam last March 26, 2013 here in Seattle, Washington. I did the Pearson vue trick few hours later after the exam and I got the good pop up. I was so surprise because the exam is too hard for me that I couldn't believe that I will passed. I told to my husband that it will be miracle if I will passed. March 28, 2013 I paid the 8 bucks checked the Pearson vue unofficial results and it says I PASSED!!! Miracle happens if you believed! I got 10 ECG, so many SATA, chart reading, teaching, post-mortem, infection control, 2 calculations, 5 drag-drop, so many meds that I did't encountered before. Computer shut down by 162 items. I'm now waiting for my official result from the board of nursing. I used SAUNDERS, LA CHARITY, and KAPLAN. I concentrate more on contents and theories than answering questions. I only did the Q&A 5 days before my exam. BELIEVE in PVT trick because I never read anyone who posted that they got the good pop up and failed but I do read few that got the cc page but still passed. God speed colleagues!

  10. Good day to everyone, I'm an international educated nurse trained in the Philippines. I had a solid six years hospital experience as a staff nurse. I used to work in Kuwait before i moved in WA. My journey in my WA state application starts last month of July 2012. I'm done with my CES report from CGFNS, AIDS online course for 7 contact hours and now preparing for the TOEFL. As i prepare my self for the TOEFL test i realized that it is harder compared to IELTS. I emailed the WA BON and ask them if they can accept IELTS test result but unfortunately they don't. I'm schedule to take my TOEFL test this month but i plan to cancel it. Instead, I'm considering to pursue my RN license application in Oregon state which is 3 hours drive from my place. Then later on, after passing the NCLEX, I'll eventually endorse it to WA state. My question is can i just abandon my application in WA even though it's already on going? Provided I'm a RN license in Oregon and wants to endorse it to WA state what are the disadvantages? Thank you for any kind of good advice that can help. God bless
