Hi Craziechiq! I have been applying to Alvarado for quite some time now and have not received any calls yet ;( I really want to land a job there instead of me moving far away. I live like 15 mins away and this is an ideal place for me to work and start my RN career. I would love to be employed at a hospital that serves SD community which I'm a part of. Any advice for me? Should I do a walk-in to meet with the managers?

Did you just apply on smarthires and just waited for their call? It is appropriate to show my face and speak with the managers? I really want this bad =(

Hey guys! I havent checked my status for a while now and just now did and it says "060-itrvw" but have not received a call yet. Anyone else status is like that but havent received a call yet? What's going?

They have a career fair for tmrrw. Any one had any experiences at the career fair for UCSD?

Has anyone applied to the VA Healthcare System and received a referral email?, saying, "We reviewed your application and concur that you are qualified for the position listed above. We have referred your name to the selecting official(s) for consideration, and they will contact you if an interview is needed". So my question is, how long is usually the waiting period until they start making calls for an interview? Or anyone has any experiences with this process? I would like to know how the hiring process goes? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
