  1. Not sure if I have the right place to post this but I am currently ADN-RN and want to attend PV for their RN-BSN transition but am wondering if they they still require the 5 year science rule for people that are already RN's just returning for BSN.
  2. So I just applied to a position for Resource Team, does anyone know what this details?
  3. Okay so I got 5 emails back for a few RNI positions I applied for but they just request for copies of CPR cards, donthey just want to make sure we aren't lying about being certified?
  4. Yeah I went back and applied for a few that opened back up and in total applied to 27 different ones from Med Surg to Tele, PCU and ICU and about two hours ago they emailed me rejection letters for the remaining Med Surg and PCU that I had applied for so I'm all tapped out at this point. I did goto a interview in Baytown yesterday but I did set up alerts for THR and will even apply after passing boards. It does make me feel some kind of way when you get 27 letters saying no lol but I am a firm believer things happen for a reason, but I am extremely excited for everyone here that did get an interview and a position THR will have some awesome nurses coming with fresh skills and ideas so I hope they are ready
  5. NICE!!! options both sound great, I hope that you get them both
  6. It is a real bummer. I did see a manager while walking through the halls one day and asked why was it than some preferred to have a BSN over an ASN when the positions are for entry level floor GN positions, and what is the difference far as skill wise....and I'm still waiting on a definitive answer, LOL but I really do like Parklands teaching atmosphere. Unfortunately like most i too am in the waiting game but I have found luck in Houston area getting call backs after one week of putting in applications but Parkland is first choice
  7. Lol yes I saw that and quickly applied for it before it vanished once again
  8. I see that now, I will have my ASN right now...had to take a different route for BSN with life's punches. I'm still keeping a look out for anything that comes up at THR, but I did decide to take interviews offered in Houston at Methodist and Ben Taub, just figure if it's meant for me to be back in Dallas and Fort Worth area life will have some way of taking me back there lol. I just know I like the way THR is structured for the Nee Grad and facilitate on a great learning and professional experience
  9. The majority still read " Application in Review Process", I applied to ICU, PCU, TELE through Dallas, Fort Worth, Cleburne, HEB locations. Some did go from considered to filled/not selected. I mean it would be cool to at least get an interview though lol but I wish I knew what they were looking for because total I applied to multiple positions I know over 15 and it's just really depressing
  10. It isn't November and just wondering if anyone knows the last day for interviews, I see there are no more posted positions so was just wondering because a lot of mine still reading considering or in process
  11. Awesomesauce, what is you guys secret to getting these interviews lol I have a collective total of 25 applications 7 which are at Parkland and all I have received is rejections, one never read replied it went straight to not interested lol. This is so depressing
  12. Congratulations and blessings, it will go well I'm sure just don't be like me with interview and forget to inhale lol.
  13. Congratulations, what floor is the position and will you be on days or night
  14. Awesomesauce, good luck...what specialty
