I am or should I say a lot of other students in class are frustrated with the teacher we have. first of all this is her first time teaching college level, second she is a biology high school teacher. She does not know how to teach A&P. I am learning myself. And the part that sucks (excuse my phrase) is that the lecture slides she gives us does not coincide with the book or the quizzes she gives us!! She started to give us quizzes the second day of class and its every class meeting she does that. ( meet tues and thurs). I am disappointed. because I feel we are her "experimental" students because this is her first time teaching this subject. :/

Like you my mom passed it will be a year on jan 31. I feel I want to pay forward. I feel like I owe it to help others as I myself was not there and how I wish I could of done more for her. I am a people person and love helping. That is why I chose to be an RN because I know it will be rewarding in that way.

I find that A&P for dummies is more in detail, and Barron's summarizes; and it hellps with having the review questions after reading each chapter which makes it helpful to understand. I find these two books will help me a whole lot!

Hello! I am 42 and starting my pre-reqs I too have a 5 and 3 yr old after being a stay at home mom I decided I wanted to return back to school and become a nurse! Good luck ! We can do this!!

Hello! I am hopefully start A&P this Jan. however, I wanted to know if any of you who have a small children, 4 & 2 yr olds how you managed your time? My goal is to get good grades prior to entering nursing school and I am nervous that I will not do well. My husband does give me support but sometimes the kids just want to hang around me. Any words of encouragement will help! Thxs!
