Hi 2B, how is your experience at the swedish institute? I know by your post being last year you are already a year in. How is the grading? I know you have to attain a 80 avg. I just got in the school. i am hearing mixed reviews about the school. My experience so far has been excellent though, but then again it's only the beginning part. Your response and advice would be huge. Thanks for your time. :)

Hi Whealer, how is your experience so far with your first semester now that it was done? I believe you had anp and 3 other non nursing classes. Was it that difficult to get an 80? I just passed the first step of the process. Passed the nln entrance and now I have to meet the dean. I had a question, I was wondering how the grading per semester was. Was it objective or subjective grading? Is participation, out of class assignments, etc included with the tests to get that 80? Or do you have to average over an 80 with all the exams first and only then everything else will be added? Like you I had a real good experience so far. My admissions director was great and up front. People seem very nice. Thank you for your time. :)

Starting January 11 (a week late cause of sandy). In Queens at day. Man, im so excited! @Primadon: that stethascope is expensive, im holding off until the semester starts until im sure if i should get that specifically. But i heard that is one of the best. Also does anyone know what is the book for Nursing Foundations and Med Surge 1 that we'll be using? I was thinking of buying them now and and just read early. Thanks in advance for anyone sending me the info.
