  1. I don't really think this will be the case as right now there are mandates that if a patient on Medi... returns to the hospital within 30 days for the same Dx that they were admitted for the hospital can not bill for that subsequent stay. If a Hospital's business model does not take this new mandate to heart, they will suffer some serious financial losses. We have AM rounding at the hospital that I work at and those "frequent flyers" garner more attention during rounds. Routine questions sum up what can be done to prevent a readmission for the same Dx.
  2. Aviator Scrubs are my favorite hands down. I have worn Koi for Men and they are ok, but the Aviator's are purpose built for Trauma. The tops have pen pockets on the Left Sleeve and the pants can store half the supply room in them. I am never at a shortage for an IV start kit or 10ml flushes or what have you. ~A
  3. Living in SoCal and it being Nov is nice in that we are still wearing flip-flops. I just kicked off the flip-flops and curled my toes in the rug and it calmed me down. I passed my NCLEX and got an email from Scripps saying I have an interview :) ~A
