  1. Final semester of prereqs yay!! Micro: exam 94%, final grade 93.1% Lab: exam 76%, unknown report 100%, final grade 92% Stats: NO final exam, group project instead 95.5%, final grade 95%. A, A, A!!
  2. I'm 39. Started my prereqs 2 years ago & just finished my last ones this semester: Microbiology (93.1%), lab (92%), & Stats (95%). Staying in school for Spring semester & taking College Algebra and Elementary Spanish while waiting for the next admissions application date (March 1st). Not discouraged at all. Have a 3.85 GPA now, and the process has made me older & wiser, literally & figuratively! LOL!
  3. What do you mean there's no coffee and vending machines?!
  4. I'm in stats now, along with the Micro. I think i may take college algebra & Spanish next semester & reapply to the RN program in march.
  5. & lets hope my GPA is still up to par after Micro. Lol! Are you in my class?? McQuaig's?
  6. See, my advisor didn't tell me that. She said I could still be accepted while still taking my final prereqs. So annoying & disappointing. So, what do I do in the meantime? Should I take more classes at SPC, such as college algebra (I'd need that for BSN, correct?), and forgo the LPN program at PTEC? Ughh! I need to speak to another advisor.I heard Tammy at the HEC is really good.
  7. I attend St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, FL.
  8. No essay, no volunteering requirement that I'm aware of, also didn't see / no one told me I needed letters of recommendation. It was an online application.
  9. I'm in my final semester of prereqs (Stats & Microbiology). An advisor & i planned everything fron day one. I applied July 1st, and got rejected Nov 1st. I have a 3.75 gpa. I'm devistated. Now foe the past 2 Weeks, I've been running around like an idiot trying to make PTECs deadline for their Jan2013 LPN program. Anyone else not get accepted? Do you know why? What are you going to do now?
