  1. Way To Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dream Big And Expect Big Things To Happen!!! Congrats To You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Hey there! I found out that what I needed was a good dose of laughter!!!! I was talking to some girl friends and they had me in stitches and I feel so much better. We take ourselves sssssooooooo seriously!!!! We forget that there is a whole world out there revolving without us!! Because we have to study!! I need to remember that when I get this stressed out, I need comedy and laughter to counteract the stress! Thanks for your response! Good Luck
  3. I have had the NLN and 3 tests this past week. All of a sudden, I have no desire to study and I am afraid of destroying my GPA in Micro!!! Is this called burn out? Usually I am very aggressive with grades and work, but right now I could care less! This has never happened in all my years of school! Please tell me how to get out of this funk and get my groove back! Help!
  4. In our nursing or pre-nursing classes, anyone cheating and caught is notified by the RN entry committee and basically removed from the opportunity of applying. This is not a career choice that can be "faked". You need to know the information in order to protect your patients from you mistakes!!! I certainly would not want someone who did not know the info touching me or administering any drugs to me. Good for you for standing up to them! They don't deserve to be there.
  5. Hey! Good for you! That score is very good. My school admistrator said that anything over 90 was great! So enjoy! I took the test this week, and I'm waiting for the mail man every day! Best wishes to all!
  6. It varies, the standard is 60 pts overall, or 50 on verbal. You are really testing against your peers. It is not a grade= clinical test. It is based on how well you do versus the others in your testing group. Sort of a bell curve effect. You must have Chemistry and reading done before you can sit for the exam. I suggest A&P also in order to do well. Good luck to you! AM
  7. Well tomorrow is the big pre-NLN exam day! I have practiced and studied and reviewed. Now, if you all would just say a tiny silent prayer for me , I would greatly appreciate it. Im sure you all know the power of prayer! Thank you and God bless AnneMarie
  8. Hi everyone! I go to DTCC Stanton. Still taking my pre -reqs and preparing for the NLN entry exam this Feb. Anyone have any tips for taking this test?? Thanks!
