Dallas, TX graduated from a BSN program May 9th. Took NCLEX June 17th, received my license June 19th Sent out many applications to both Houston and Dallas area hospitals Received call back for two interviews on June 24th (at the same hospital) Offered two positions, chose one Started work on July 7th!!!!

Kaplan is a good NCLEX review. I scored a 65.5 on QT 6 and a 67 on QT 7. I Took NCLEX for the first time last week and my test shut off at 75 questions and I passed. QT 6 and 7 are ALL application and analysis questions which is much like NCLEX when you are above the line of passing. Kaplan recommends that students get a 60% or above on QT 6 and 7 before taking their exam. So your scores are very good. You have to be confident in yourself. Good luck!!

In my opinion I think the NCLEX questions are similar to Kaplan questions especially trainer 6 and trainer 7. I got a 65.5 on trainer 6 and a 66.4 on trainer 7. I took NCLEX yesterday and my test shut off at 75 questions!!! I did the Pearson vue trick and got the "good" pop up. I think Kaplan is a great tool. Kaplan recommends you get at least a 60% or above on trainer 6 and 7 before taking your exam. However I know people who scores in the high 50s and still passed. I had my interview on Wednesday via lync since I live out of state. they told me i should know something by next week. So there is still hope!!! At the informational session they said they would be selecting 70+ new grads that's a good number.

Hey!!! I was wondering if anyone know of any summer nursing externship that PROVIDE HOUSING So far I have applied to Texas methodist and Mayo Clinic, but I haven't had any luck finding others that provide housing or housing assistance.
