I took NCLEX today. It was just like taking a UWorld Test. I left feeling like I guessed a lot. My exam shut off at 75 questions. Did the Pearson Vue trick about 4 times and have gotten only the good pop up. My girl went with me. After we had lunch and went wine tasting. Got to try a yummy chocolate wine mixed with berry wine. Overall today was a good day. Im believing God that I passed. í ½í¹í ¼í¿¾

Ok my nerves are trying to kick in. I have been doing U world with only 700 questions done. My average is 57%. I scored 67th percentile with a Very high chance of passing. I scored 87% on the ATI predictor. I listened to the Hurst review tapes but have not studied the book. Lots of prayers sent my way to pass. I have prayed as well. Today I am just gonna review my Hurst study guide.Most people in my class passed with 75 questions. I am gonna prepare for 265 just in case. Tomorrow at 1 pm I take NCLEX. Xo

California don't have the Quick results. If I take the exam on Thursday when will I get the results?

I am scheduled to test this week. I have done U world about 500 questions.I did their predictor which said I have a very high chance of passing NCLEX. I have done Hurst review. Idk If I should postpone my exam. Just seems like it's so much stuff to review.

Taking NCLEX February 15th Using Hurst and U world Averaging 64 percent.

Studentrcc where you in nursing 21 in the Spring 15? I did here you all had 30 students that were struggling at one point. I am an LVN but decided to start at the beginning because it over 20 yrs since I been in school. I am glad I did. I have spoke to some of the students who just graduated. They gave me some valuable tips. You have to know how to think like a nurse. This will have to come first. Try to have fun and not get to stressed out, about all pray and trust in God to get you through it. Stay positive.

RCC gave away 40,000 to nursing students this last year.

I do not know if they signed the contract with UOP yet. I was told that it will be an option for the Fall 15 class. If so they will discuss it at intake.

I just successfully finished nursing 11. I enjoyed it so much. I am excited for you all. Good luck guys. Never give up :)...

Wow sorry if I caused you any distress. Okay no more advice from me. I just told you what my experience was and others in my class went through. As I said before I really hope it all works out for you and everyone else trying to get in.

A lot of the our books have access codes we have to buy that come with the books. Further, like I said before the books you buy will need during the whole two years except for the fundamentals books. I hope it works out for you :)

This is about right. Sorry but 1500 is not gonna be enough to start. You should get a loan or ask family for help if you can. I would not want to pass up the opportunity to get in Js. Most of your books and fees need to be purchased during nursing 11. My hubby had to borrow 3000 from our 401k plan we spent the other grand out of pocket. Yes it is better to defer your admission if you get accepted if your not mentally, physically or financially ready to start. This program is intense and takes a lot of work. That being said I feel blessed to be in it. So many people will be happy to take your spot. You books are about 2000, ati is 500.00 bucks, skills bag 200, uniforms for two is 250. you can start with just one but it will get warn fast. Your physical can be done at your own MD. My drs office messed things up so I started with them and then had RCC clinic do the rest. CPR for two years cost about 50 bucks. I won't be on here until after finals that's the following Tuesday. I hope you guys registered for the math for healthcare and success in nursing. I am horrible in math. We have to pass a dosage for nursing 12 and be 100% accurate. I passed the dosage we had at 100% last week.

I had to pay it all at once within a week because I had to get everything within a weeks time. You may have a couple of months before school starts to pay for all of your stuff. Books, uniforms, physical, supplies was about 4 grand. Tuition is extra but I got a fee waiver.
