I went on an interview for one other place, went well but no offer yet. I have one for a hospital on Wednesday just no one really heard of the place.

My younger brother lives in Maryland and loves it lots to do for young people. He's lived in Millersville and also Hanover both are really nice and close to the city.

I guess if I don't check it out I'll always wonder what if, and do I hate the what ifs. I guess I never thought I'd have a choice when it came to my first nursing job.

I have a job offer that I accepted for a rehab place and the other day got a call back about setting up an interview for a job at a hospital. I have mixed emotions about what to do, if I should go on the interview and see what happens from it or just keep with the rehab. The rehab is closer or higher pay and seems like a great place to work. I'm not sure how the orientation is setup since I'll be on nights so I called and waiting for call back. I haven't called the hospital back because I'm not sure what I want. I guess I'm worried about getting stuck in one field, but then who knows I could love it and never want to leave. Any opinions

it's hard to not laugh when you get the question or the surprised look that you haven't found a job yet.

Did you have clinical there or work at the hospital prior? I'm just trying to see what my chances are because I didn't work there or have clinical.

Are you doing the GN program. I have an interview there in January for the med surg floor. How is the group interview?

Did you have any prior healthcare worker experience or have clinical at Temple. Did have any awards listed on your resume or a very high GPA? Sorry for all the questions but I'm trying to see if I'm missing something on my resume that makes my resume not one that's picked.

The philly area stinks for finding jobs especially if you don't have an in from someone

Angel Nurse, every time I call and ask them about the new to practice I get about the same answer. I asked if I haven't received an email asking for the transcripts and letters of reference does that mean I'm not in the running. They response is no it doesn't mean that and that they pull people into groups and contact that way. I just wished if I had no chance because they are hiring internally this go that they would just say that, and I'd move on.
