  1. Graduated December 16th, 2007 and passed the NCLEX January 16, 2008
  2. I was just wondering if any of you ever looked into a franchise opportunities for MedSpas and if, how lucrative this would be?
  3. Took it in April and did very well. I've ordered the study guide from ERI world or something like that, from their website...sorry don't have the link anymore. :uhoh21: I think it is the best one out there, because the same people who published this study guide, are also the ones that come up with the test questions. I paid around 30 bucks for it. Good luck
  4. I've just finished organic chemistry in a six week course and made an A I've studied everyday after class at the library for at least 2-3 hours, and sometimes in a study group. It was rough but it's doable. Here are some sites that helped me: http://swc2.hccs.edu/pahlavan/ http://www.chemtutor.com/ Good luck, Ginger
  5. I'm taking currently Patho @ TWU with the same prof. Well, on Thursday he told us that he was called in to a meeting with the faculty of TWU and was told that rumors were going around that he just tests from his notes. This will change from now on, he will ask specific question from each chapter that he assigns. Additionally, the final will be compehensive, starting in the Fall. I don't know if this will account for UTHSC as well, but I know the good days @ TWU are over
  6. Thanks for all the information. I've already went to orientation last friday. So I've got my scores back, I'm in the traditional program, which I was praying for... Peace Ginger
  7. Did anybody who took the NET recently @ TWU, get their scores back yet? I totally forgot to ask if they will mail the results, or if they will let us know the scores @ the day of orientation.
  8. No I will start the BSN program in Houston. Longhorn, You got me a little confused now, does your book specifically says that there will be a science part involved, or is it just about comprehending science material? Oh well, if there will be a science part, than I just have to suck it up and use common sense on these questions, since I don't have any time to study for it right now, because all my finals are coming up this week as well as next week. Peace Ginger
  9. As far as I know they will only test your science reading comprehension, but I could be wrong. The best thing is to call TWU, and get further information. PS what is the name of the book?
  10. I'm taking it @ TWU Houston this saturday!!! What I've read from previous threads, is that first, it's not that hard of an test. It covers mainly basic math skill like converting fractions, division of numbers with decimals, equations etc... and the reading part is about understanding what you just have read, knowing the interference, theme, main statement etc... of an paragraph, and of course basic grammar for the writing part. Good luck on your test, Ginger
  11. Thanks suegarmom, four more days to go.... hang in there, I wish you good luck and think positive, you will get accepted Ginger
  12. thanks guys, but i will go to twu, first they offered me a scholarship, that i cannot turn down, i really need the money . additionally, i can take pathophysiology in the summer, so that my load won't be so heavy in the fall, that will give me more time to spend with my daughter and husband. texastac, thank you for all the information that you were sharing with us. i'm still waiting for my letter from uthsc though, and keep you guys posted if i would've been accepted or not. ginger
  13. I've just received my acceptance letter to TWU !!! But I don't really know if I should go with TWU, or UT if I get accepted?? TWU wants an answer by the 15th and that's when UT send their letters out :uhoh21: Oh man, I'm really confused... I'm still going to open a bottle of Hpnotiq tonight
  14. I wish everybody that applied to an BSN program will get accepted. :) My first school of choice was UTHSC, but I think I be just as happy to get into TWU Houston, my GPA consist right now of an 3.91. so I think l will get an scholarship easier at TWU than at UTHSC HBU would be my least school of choice, simply of their high tuitition rate, but hey if none of the others will accept me, I guess we just have to suck it up for the next 2 years... 25% chance of admittance is not bad, so guys don't worry, I think we all have a good chance to get accepted. :) Peace Ginger
  15. Sugarmom, Good luck on your interview tomorrow
