I know....I hope they will take this into consideration when grading this weeks discussion boards because I already completed mine earlier in the week and used a direct quote. Counting down these last few weeks!!

Yea I was lost also...but I just looked over the websites KSA's and took what "applied" to my topic and reworded it to make it my own. Hope that is right....

How is everyone doing on the first clinical project assignment?

Nope, no test. Just register and you are in. I just finished the class yesterday and would again recommend this class to anyone who needs it. The final is long (100 questions) and it has to be proctored ( I had to pay $50.00) but you can use your notes and a calculator. I would recommend keeping your work from the math assignments because it looked like the same questions came up on the final.

I have not taken a math course in over 5 years... The last one being stats. I took chemistry in high school (13 years ago) and remember a very large portion of it was based on math, however this course at clovis is very basic math that you can use a calculator on. The teacher is very straight forward and puts things in black and white on how he wants it. I would recommend this class to anyone who needs to take it!!

It is actually going great! There is no book, the instructor just posts his lecture notes (which are very short and to the point), quizzes and tests (which you can use your notes) and labs. Very doable!

How is everyone doing on this planning document and creative communication paper? This class just might be the death of me!!

Is anyone here taking chemistry at Clovis community college this summer? It starts next week and just want to see if anyone is going to be suffering with me!

I agree that the workload is way more than any other class I have had, however my TA seems okay. No real issues yet!

Has anyone purchased the Case studies yet? I looked on the Evolve website and searched by HESI Physical Assessment Case Studies and a whole list of items popped up with a wide range of prices....obviously I don't want to get the one for $132 when the one for $24.95 will work.

Are the discussion board 1 question and the introduction discussion board two separate posts? I don't see a question? Maybe it is not up yet??

That is the same thing I was going to say...The FTE is not the same as the FTE per shift for the variable calculation...

I have not heard of any ADN programs being online as this is where you get your hands on clinical experience.

I too am trying to figure out the calculations for the staffing assignment. I won't give actual numbers, but can someone confirm if they received a higher number (workers per shift) for the census calculation than the variable staff calculation? I just want to see if I did the calculations correct. Thanks!

I hear ya RNinC....this class is proving to be the most difficult for me also! I have 3 nursing classes left and I have received A's in all my previous classes and I am having a hard time maintaing a high B. I also live in an area where new grad jobs are hard to find, which is why I went right back to school also. Keep your head up!!

Mine is not showing anymore either! It was already bad enough that it didn't come up on Sunday, now this! Hopefully this is not how the next 5 weeks will be!
