Has anyone that interviewed with 4NW (General Surgery) received an email from HR regarding reference check?

My interview was on the 24th (second session). I didn't know they held more interviews throughout the week. Well, good luck to us all!

How did you get an interview with the OR? (if General Surgery means OR? )

Thank you so much! It's absolutely no problem that you can't disclose questions that you were asked. But all your tips are relieving some of my anxiety for my interview. I really hope I get it. It's hard to get a job in a new grad program in SoCal if you don't know anyone personally in HR or someone who's a nurse manager or DON. Btw, nebit27 did you sign a year or 2-year contract to stay with them?

My interview is this Friday!! So any tips would be great :) I did my preceptorship in the ambulatory surgery center. I took care of patients pre-operatively and post-op. So technically not in the OR. I can't believe it starts next week! Where are you from nebit27?

Hi nebit27! When did you have your interview!? I had no idea the program starts in 2 weeks I was going to ask the interviewer when it starts during my interview. I have a few questions about the interview you had with UCDMC OR and I hope you are willing to answer and help me out. I would really appreciate it : ) Was it a one-on-one interview or a panel interview? What questions did they ask? How long was the interview? Thank you! I applied on 10/5. This was a separate application specifically for the OR that I think ended on 10/11. I did my preceptorship in LA, CA.

They contacted me last Tuesday. I did my preceptorship in the Ambulatory Surgery Center and I applied to New Grad OR Training Program. Thank you so much jomort08!

No, they offered me a phone interview since I live in Los Angeles, but I declined. I'm going there next week for an interview! Pray for me and wish me luck please : )
