  1. Praise the Lord! I am a foreign educated nursing graduate too and have failed my nnclex four times. I am preparing for a fifth attempt through self study. I found your post very helpful and encouraging. I pray to one day post my successful story and experience here too" .pray and wish ,e luckí ½í¸ƒ
  2. This is so inspiring.. I am glad i found your post. I graduated from nursing school 2010 and have taken the test 4 times and failed at it.. the worst feeling ever!! family circumstances, and family deaths happened so it took me a while to get back on the review mode. Now freshly relocated in Michigan, im refocusing and slowly getting back on preparing for the NCLEX rn exam... I am planning on using my accumulated review materials and notes and use nclex apps.. and praying that this time with hard core studying, that this 5th try will be my final test! i am nervous but could not wait any longer to finally get over this challenge and become a licensed nurse!!
  3. hello, i am on the same boat as you. i failed my nclex exam 4 times already and losing hope. but i cant give up on this. i know someway, i will finally pass this exam, i am thinking of signing up with hurst also. and also kaplan review. two to three months of preparation i needed for me. dont give up you will make it, i will make it too. gotta keep our heads up. We cant give up on this goal and that is to finally have the letters RN, attached to our names.. Goodluck and keep me posted on your journey.., by the way, I graduated nursing 2010 from a foreign country..
  4. I applied for Florida at first, but since I failed three times, I appliedin New Mexico board of nursing and going to review with hurst and Kaplan to hopefully pass it this time. Good luck with your results
  5. Congratulations on passing the exam!! I too graduated from the philippines and am struggling with the nclex exam. I have a six month old baby which makes it challenging to stick to a study schedule.. I am curious about the Sheilas review course since i live in Florida. HOw is the review program and do you think it helped you alot in passing the exam?? i believe i need good review on content since i graduated 2010.. i have th esuanders yellow book, the lippincotts q and a 10th edition, and the exam cram rn , and PDA by la Charity.. I would appreciated your input in regards to Shielas Review. I live close to Tampa.. thank you;)
  6. Hey, congratulations on passing the exam!! I graduated from a foreign school almost 4 years ago, and have taken the nclex 4 times!! once every year! life got in the way and other family issues.. but this time, i am going to take the nclex as much as i can within a year. I would like to know what you did different this time that made you pass it, and what resources were excellent for you! I do need alot of content review since ibe been out of school for so long. thank you in advance :)
  7. Thank you all for your inputs. i know taking the LPN nclex will not do justice to my rn education, but i am desperate to be working as a nurse .. . i thought i would give it a try but i guess i will just have to keep going and sign up again for a review course. I am thinking of signing up with Hurst. I do need good review with the content and need to brush up on techniques for answering the nclex exam.. I have gone through Kaplan course international review and thought the videos were so lengthy and boring. I have the Saunders book (yellow) ,Lippincotts 10th edition Q and A and La Charity PDA.. I am a visual learner.. and i learn better with interactions... oh yeah i need alot of help with pharmacy too. Any tips on which study tools or review course you can recommend?? I have a six month old baby.. its harder to dedicate a 4-5 hours a day for studying. the only time i get is after 10 pm when she is asleep. then its hard to stay awake and study when nothing is sticking in the brain when i get so tired and sleepy. . but i know i have to find time to review.. I am trying my best to stay on track and focus especially now that i have a baby to support financially. thanks again guys for all your honest replies. I really appreciate it.
  8. really/// he is not an rn?? i always thought his videos were useful and clear and straight to the point
  9. Hello. I graduated in the philippines too class 2010. i have taken the nclex 4 times already but failed. the first and second try i was very unprepared and then 3rd and 4th try i reviewed with saunders only and then some questions out of lippincotts. I would love to be able to share my story of success on here one day. Im feeling lost and hopeless but no time moping around and time to get back on the saddle. Wish me luck guys!
  10. Congratulations! I took the nclex rn exam 4 times and failed all of them too. now im on my 5th try. i have a six month old baby and out of work so i can baby sit. trying to get a time for studying has been challenging with a lively, full of energy crawling and trying to walk baby!! plus doing house chores and other family responsibilities. i really am drained and i feel so lost and hopeless. .. i know i will pass it in Gods time. i have saunders yellow book, the kaplan book, PDA la charity , and Lippincotts Q and A 10th edition. i believe i need alot of content review since i graduated april of 2010.. I need to look into the Hurst program if it helped with your content needs. Anyone else here can share which review sites help on your content and techniques iin answering the nclex rn?? i have also tried the simplenursing.com whihc is 38$ monthly. i know they just offerred the RN review course. but i dont know if anyone had use it and passed their nclex. i really appreciate any inputs or feedbacks. please help. thank you . :)
