  1. It's nice to hear that I'm not alone. Reading different posts scared me because I saw people who spoke about failing the lesser amount. I know what you mean about being positive. I will keep you in my prayers so we both can have the RN title. Sending you good vibes
  2. I recently found out that I have failed the Ca.NCLEX-RN for the fourth time. I'm starting to lose hope even with a great support system. I know I shouldn't lose hopeI honestly thought I passed this time with 196 questions with about 20 SATA questions, 2 diagrams, and 6 put in order. I've done the Kaplan course and that did not work for me the 3rd time I took the exam. So, I completely changed how I studied and approached the exam. I did 150 to 200 questions on alternating days (Mon. = 150, Tue. = 200, etc.) with NCLEX 4000. On questions that I got wrong I would go over that specific topic with Saunders 5th edition and write them down in my own words in a notebook that I would take with me everywhere so when I had free time I would read a page or two. On the day of the exam I felt so good and ready. During the exam I would write notes to myself to breathe, relax, and to read each question carefully. When I hit question 76 I wrote to myself "you're still in the game, now go for that win" and that pumped me up even more after each question I still received. After the exam I felt drained, but had a good feeling that this time changed and this time i'll finally be a licensed nurse. Now, I'm thinking I need another different approach to studying. I'm also thinking of taking a refresher course because I have been out of school for so long (grad Nov. 2012 ). I was wondering if Hurst is a good program to look into.
