Grossmont Spring 2020
Awh! I figured it would be based off of low income. I most likely would not qualify. Thank you though. By the way it’s so awesome to know we are all mothers and continuing our education/ career for the future of our babies!! We totally rock, pray we all get in and we would definitely be great mama supporters of each other.

Grossmont Spring 2020
I only applied to Grossmont as well! Looking at past forums, ending of September/ beginning October is when emails went out. However, since we all have some stuff in common, is it hard to get in to the daycare at Grossmont? @Dani619 If I do get accepted, I’m worried about childcare for my approximately 3 month old baby about when school starts. I have 2 other little ones that would be in school, but by then I will also have a new born. I’m so used to attending school at night, due to working around my kids and husband schedule. I totally forgot Grossmont offers daycare, and I’m sure it would be so convenient and a huge help on me if I do get into the program. Let me know! Thanks.

Grossmont Spring 2020
Hello future RNs! Wanted to start this forum to keep in touch with my fellow Spring 2020 applicants. I submitted my application a few weeks ago estimating around 86 points. This will be my second time around, first time I was around 68 points. Went back to school to receive my Associate Degree and Language, and increased my TEAS score. Best of luck to all applicants!

Hello everyone, I'm a mother to an one year old, my husband and I wants to continue having more kids. I started my first semester Spring 2012, worked full time, and took care of my, at the time, eight month old baby. I'm starting my fall classes tomorrow as a full time student now that I'm no longer working. I wanted to know if there are any mothers out there or expecting mothers that are still going or went to school while you were continuing to grow your family. Was it manageable? How was your experience? Any advice would be great! I don't want to wait to have kids after I'm done with school because that would be five to six years from now!- Fall Semester 2012

Thank you for the advice, A&P and Micro would it be best if I don't take 2 science classes together since I hear it is super hard?- First year in college! Need advice please!
Wow good for you! Are you working or just going to school? I have my license in phlebotomy but it's so hard to find a job with no experience, that's why I'm just continuing my education. How Long did it take you to get to where you are now?- First year in college! Need advice please!
Thank you soo much for the advice! I can totally relate to your suggestions! I will definitely consider mixing up my classes, taking easy general Ed with science! I will also look into when they accept applications and will plan accordingly. What did you do, did you get an associate or continued for a bachelor degree?- First year in college! Need advice please!
Thank you so much for replying! I know what classes I need to take Inorder to get accepted in a program, I just wasn't too sure if it mattered what classes I should take in the first year. Next semester I will start my science class. I do want to get a BSN instead because I was searching for what jobs preferred which is having a bachelor. I guess I will figure out what's best as I get further in school. Next week I'll set an appointment with another councilor. My first visit with the councilor I had all my paper work organized as far as the classes I know I needed to take in order to get into the program and she just refuse to look at what I had put together! She just told me to get my math and English out the way and then start on my foreign language classes and other Gerald Ed before I can start my science classes! So I'll just talk to another councilor and hear what is best to do to get in the program!- First year in college! Need advice please!
Thank you so much for replying! Im leaning more towards continuing on to a four year college and getting my Bachelors degree nurse! After this semester I will start my science classes. I heard its best to take one science corse at a time because it's so hard and it's best to get an A, Our nursing program goes by point system, so the more points I get the better chance I get into the program, I've already looked into what classes I need to take, I just needed advice what classes is best to take first! So thank you again for the advice!- Where should I start? CNA in San Diego, CA.
Job corps offer CNA program in imperial beach- First year in college! Need advice please!
I'm attending community college and starting my second semester this month. I've already registered for my classes which are general Ed. Courses. My plan is to get into the nursing program. I haven't taken any science classes yet! When should I start taking my prerequisite classes? Is it best to get an associate degree or best to transfer to get a bachelor?I am a full time student I just need advice on what classes are best to take first! I did talk to a college councilor and she just talked very negative about how it will be too hard getting into the nursing program that it's best for me to have another career plan! No way am I letting someone talk me out of becoming a nurse! Anyways, any good advice would be great! Thanks. Below are classes I've taken and classes I'm going to start this month, 1st semester - math & English 2nd semester- math, english, communication,& physiology - Mothers/ Expecting Mothers while attending school
