  1. I have been thinking a lot! I do know it will be way easier since my kiddies are older now. So I'm just gonna go with the flow, if I get pregnant I do if I don't well then I dont. If I can't get pregnant by end of year then I will give up. I am really excited to get back in school and accomplish becoming a nurse to prove to myself I did it and have a job that I love I want to work in labor and delivery or nicu. It's been my dream for a while and it's my fault I sat home for the last 5 years and did nothing I feel mad that I did that but i just didn't want to leave my kids, and was going back and forth of the idea of just gettin a different career. But I want to become a RN. So if I'm done by 31 years old I'll be satisfied, having another baby I won't stop my Pre-req I do also think havin a baby during taking Pre-req would be easier than nursing school itself because I can choose my own schedule. Thanks for everyone's advice. It's a hard decision
  2. Hi I'm not in Idaho, but I seen your post about having 3 kids, I have 2 my son is 5 my daughter is almost 4, both in Pre-k my husband is 11 years older than me I'm 25. We want one more baby but he said he can't wait 5 more years, so it's now or never, in march I will start taking some Pre-req all Pre and co req, so probably will take around 2 1/2 years which I don't care I'm in no hurry to work :), I can't want to accomplish my goal of getting in nursing school and passing and become a rn! But I want another kid whIch will be more hard when I get in nursing school, Pre-req Classes isnt the problem, because I can go when my husband isn't busy. I have family that can help. But for nursing school my older two will be in school all day and if I were to have a baby and be due early next year around march-June 2013, that baby prob would be only around 3, so I need to make a decision , I'm not sure what to do. I want both, how do you manage it all. It's hard being a mom
  3. Hi everyone, I'm currently taking pre-req for the first time. I plan on taking all pre and co req before applying to the program. I figure it will be easier for me to do it that way so I can just focus on my nursing classes. I'm 25 years old I have two kids my son is 5 and is in pre-k and starts kindergarten full days in August, my daughter will be 4 soon she's also in pre-k and will be in kindergartens August 2014. There not the issue, I can finish my pre-req probably in about 2 years, I just want to make sure I get good grades. So by time I apply for nursing school, they will be in school full time. The issue is, my husband and I been talking whether are not to have another baby. For my husband is now or never. He's much older than me and said he wouldn't wait till after I'm done with nursing school, which i will be around 31? The issue is, if I were to have another baby now. By time I'm in nursing school, he/she will be around 3-4 years old, if I were to have a baby by early next year. I have tons of family to help. My mom and sisters and mother in law. I just don't have any clue on how busy/hard nursing school is. I heard clinicalls are long hours. But I'm super excited to try this out, I'm also not in no rush to work, I don't want too, I rather take my time and go to school. But not sure about having another kid. I want to because I would regret it later in life. I'm confused, I want both, but thinking just to choose nursing. I just wonder how many ladies manage school and kids. Any advice is great thanks in advance.
