   Very true...... I've never seen a salaried staff nurse position on the floor... My understanding of salaried is that it is to be a "management" position with the ability to hire and fire, and discipline other employees...... Good luck.......

   I've been on both sides of the fence...... I am now a travel nurse, and love it..... I work my 36 hours a week, and if I choose to do overtime, I do, but don't ever take work home, and now really enjoy going to work... Management isn't for ever...

   One web site is http://www.ncsbn.org/regulation/boardsofnursing_boards_of_nursing_board.asp There are several sites though. Tennessee is a compact state, they can tell you what states are also compact. Sorry, I don't know them all, do know that N.C...

   The best thing you can do is check with the TN state board of nursing. I'm a travel nurse from MO, and I'm now licensed in 3 other states, and working on more, all I do is check out the web site for each state, and down load the application for endo...
