  1. Thank You so much !!! we will succeed!!!
  2. Hello , I commend you first and foremost for not giving up, if this is your dream continue to pray and God will certainly show you the way and remove all the obstacles. I am a repeat test taker as well and it would be nice to know what states has unlimited attempts because in some states as mine remediation starts at $1200-2000 dollars and those who basically want you to go back to school. I don't believe your past failures is because you didn't learn in school, for this test it takes knowing your content and critical thinking skills, not to mention some test taking tips (some people are just good test takers and some not), if you can share the names of the unlimited states I would appreciate it, I am with you NEVER accept "NO" although you may hear that from time to time.... it's God's way of preparing you for the "YES" to come! I pray for your success !
  3. Congrats! Determinedbyanymeans, You are a ray of sunshine for us repeat test takers, and I appreciate your post, you are most certainly right that it does not matter how many times you take this test , its not giving up! those negative comments does not deserve a reply they will never admit to how many times they actually took the test, furthermore it does not determine what kind of nurse you will be. Anyone that comes to this forum with negativity need to be blocked its obivious they have personal issues and I hope that I never have to put the life of a family member or myself in their hands. Sorry for the long rebuttal, but I know you will do great things in your career! Thanks for sharing
  4. Hello sap76, First thing is don't give up there is a God up above that will see you through this, I am a repeat test taker and believe me I know how it feel to fail this test, I always keep in mind " what God has for me is for me" ! and it will happen in his time. I myself do not feel that there is one thing that will help that is 100%, my advice is to keep practicing questions and go back to see what areas you need to brush up on, what has helped me is understanding what the question is asking, read the question twice look at your choices take out the ones that does not fit, even if it seem they all fit and sometimes they do,then you choose what will help the patient right now. I hope this shed alittle light on things for you, and most of all keep the faith and pray!
  5. Congratulations and thank you!
  6. Congratulations!!! You are an inspiration for all of us repeat test takers trying to stay motivated and encouraged to try again, the kind of nurse you will be is not determined by this exam and it doesn't matter how many attempts it took, the best part is not giving up! Thank you so much and all the best is yet to come !!
  7. Hello sianee, I just wanted to wish you all the best on your nclex exam!!! and wanted to know what have you done differently far as studying this time around. I am preparing to re test as well and would like some good insight. I have been using Uworld and Saunders. Thanks in advance for your reply
  8. Hello Askthepsychnp I am going to be testing soon I would some tips/strategies which is much needed, as an unemployed graduate a lot of the reviews are so expensive. I would greatly appreciate if you would share your notes with me. My email [email protected] Thanks in advance
  9. Sorry for your loss, it's never easy to lose a love one I pray that the Lord comfort you and your family in the days to come and keep in the for front of your memory all the good times you shared. His grandchildren will always remember what a wonderful grandpa they had. My condolences.
  10. Hello joycie11, Congrats !!! on your success and thanks for your post, and yes GOD has everything to do with the victory... so continue to walk in his favor and do great things in your career.
  11. Hello apryl0807 Congrats !!! on your success !!! thanks for your post it give me hope as I also been using Uworld/Hurst
  12. Hello FlaCR, I would also appreciate the tutor information as I have to re take the nclex for the 2nd time. I also have tried other sources such as Uworld, Hurst, and Saunders so I'm kinda at a loss as to what to do since I finished those reviews with good percentage. Thanks in advance for guidance and referral.
  13. Hello alliperkins889, BSN, I want to first commend you for not giving up, this test is not easy, I too am a repeat test taker and for the most part test anxiety has interfered. I also reviewed with Hurst as it gave me the content knowledge that I was lacking and due to these programs costing so much I utilized multiple free online reviews such as registeredrn.com, allnursesnotes.com, khanacademy, brillantnurse, rnmastery and saunders. I made it a point to do questions everyday in multiple of 20's(doing too much does not allow you to retain the information). Most importantly PRAY and believe in yourself and know that God has great plans for your life !! Good Luck!
  14. Hello Jaystyle80, I appreciate your post, especially because this forum is to give advice to help someone , rather than to tear them down even more. Being a repeat test taker you already feel bad enough after trying so hard, I have learned some people are good test takers and some are not which doesn't mean you didn't put forth the same efforts as those who passed the first time around. This test isn't easy and for those who don't pass, keep the faith and keep trying as you stated "don't give up" because if it's GOD's will this too shall pass and you will make it. I applaud you for your honesty and encouragement!
