  5. Hello, I am a potential student applying for the RN-ADN program here in Louisiana. I am curious to know if there are any fellow folks that will be applying to the first class of nurses at South Lousiana Community College? I am so nervous to see how this will turn out, since this first group will be the "guinea pigs" of this new program. I am so anxious to hear from any other potential SLCC first class RN graduates to be!! Thanks for reading...you don't have to post much, I just wanted to do a roll call type of post! Oh, and Good Luck to all that are taking their TEAS V exam this week..(share you alls experiences with that here too)

Congrats to everyone else and i hope to stay posted on you all's progression through this process...however, i would like to know where you guys are attending or atleast how long your program is?? *goodluck fellow nurses*
  14. Does SU offer an lpn-bsn track??
  15. Thanks so much for the reply, i appreciate it! Do you know how to find out what the compact states are and where can you get the NLC license? Im in school in Louisiana but want to practice in Texas, but still have the option to go between the two without switching my license from place to place....
  16. Hello to all nurses, aspiring nurses, nursing students and all that are in between, this is my first post! :thankya:*Thank you for welcoming me* I was wondering:confused:..when a newly graduated student goes to sit for boards is there anyway they can sit to have a license in more than one state? Meaning..if i graduate from a Louisiana LPN or RN program, would I be able to hold a license for both Louisiana and Texas??...I have been told this is possible, but only if the states are neighboring--like LA/TX or GA/FL etc. How true is this and if so, how do you go about obtaining such a license?
