  1. It's been 3 years since being in school fulltime (from the time I graduated LPN school in 2010) I'm in the LPN-RN program here in Illinois and surprisingly I am transitioning very well! I have a 96% in Mental Health class right now and we are starting third semester Med Surg next week!!
  2. I have never done Crossfit, but I currently do the Insanity Workout program and also go to the gym. I still workout during nursing school, It's my stress reliever!!! I compare it to the nursing students who smoke during our breaks ...However I deal with my sttress in a much more healthier way:sneaky: I love fitness and I love being active!
  3. Gotta do what you can to survive!
  4. How is the program going so far? Are you also working?
  5. So after I graduated with my LPN in 2010, I realized I wanted to do more than just work in a LTC setting. Don't get me wrong, I adore the geriatric population, but this girl needed a change. Last year (2012) I signed up for the last pre-requisite class I needed to get into the Community College program offered where I reside. Anatomy and Physiology I&II. I flew through those courses with A in first semester and B in second semester. I applied in MArch of this year to the LPN-ADN program and last week I recieved my acceptance letter in the mail!!! This girl was on cloud 9 that day, still am! Right now I'm trying to figure out a way to afford my program, tell my employer the schedule for the fall, etc... but nothing is going to get in my way of completing this program!! Eventually I really want to pursue my bachelors/masters... MAybe NP...
