Fraudulant charge, should I still apply?
hello, msbradley - my answer to your poll question should have been "no." (they won't let me change it.) i was answering "yes" to your original question of whether or not you should still apply. the florida department of health's website has this q & a: q: can a person obtain a license as a nurse if they have a misdemeanor or felony crime on their record? a: each application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. the board of nursing considers the nature and severity of offenses and how recently they occurred, as well as rehabilitation and other factors. the board cannot make a determination for approval or denial of licensure without evaluating the entire application and supporting documentation. for more information please review the following document: criminal history and discipline information. more info here: frequently asked questions - florida board of nursing - frequently asked questions and you'll find the document they're talking about, criminal history and discipline information, here: http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/nursing/info_crim_hist_disc_info.pdf best of luck to you! jak
