I was just hired as a Case Manager after 18 years RN experience and my employer is going to give me 90 days orientation and on the job training.

Any one going to the August 1, 2016 Orientation at Mt Sinai?

I did that last Friday evening and still haven't heard anything.

Does it usually take a long time to hear from them after the interview? I know in prior job offerings with other hospitals I was always told quickly.

I was at the 1PM spot and interviewed for one of the med/surge floors. Do you know of anybody that heard back from Monday?

When I asked the PCD she said about a week the Talent Acquisition Specialist said one to two weeks. Where you at the 1PM Slot? What floor did you interview on?

Does any one know how long does it take after interviewing with the Patient Care Director to hear from the Talent Acquisition Specialist? What about the health insurance? How much do you have to pay for a family of 3? Thanking you in advance.

Is that the typical time you hear back from Columbia because I went to the Open House for Experience Nurses on Monday May 3rd and still has not heard anything.

Did you ever get a position in the OR?

I will be a nurse for 13 years in December but I have no OR experience. I have done over 5 year of Med Surge Nursing and the last 7 I have spent as a Ambulatory Surgery nurse. I believe the Oct 8 date is just for the OR Residency program. I believe they have a New Graduate Program.

Thanks I called them yesterday because I had my second interview with the OR Director on September 4. She said I would hear pretty quick. I called the Nurse Recruiter yesterday morning and she said they are still in the discission making process. The orientation is supppose to start Oct. 8th. I didn't hear anything about a hiring freeze. Thanks for your help Flee43.

My ASU we do the following: eyes: Cataracts Pterygiums Ortho: Knee athroscopies ACL Repairs Shoulder Arthroscopies Rotator cuff General Surgery: Inguinal hernia repairs Umblical hernia repairs Lap choles Urology: TRUS lithotripsies Stent placements GYN D&Cs Suction D&C (TOP) Suction D&E (TOP) Podiatry: Bunectomies Hammertoes Oral Surgeries: ORIF/CR Mandible fractures These are all I can remember for the moment.

What is this test like? I am taking it on Thursday. Please help.
