  1. Hello, I def must say that Florida really had no LPN jobs and the ones I got the year there payed under $18 an hour and thats overnights. I left DC making $27 hr to go to school in Jacksonville for my RN but had to return here because I needed to work....dont go to Florida...sorry
  2. Hey Nurse2bKimberly! No I have not tried the home health side of it. I did sign on with 2 staffing agencies and neither has work right now at all. I do have experience with trachs etc. There are a few SNF in the area that I will walk into and hand my resume out and fill out an app! Pray for me! :) Thanks~
  3. Hey, Yes I think you will like the clinic setting alot! I loved it!! Normal working hours and the pay does vary with exp and location. Def check Indeed.com and career Builder. Hang in there and keep ya head up!!!
  4. Hello All! I have been an LPN For 9 years and NEVER had problems finding work. From 2008-2011 I worked in DC but left for FL for a year and ran into problems finding work. Finally got hired on and they cut everyones hours so I had to job hop. Decided to moved back to the DC area in Maryland and no one is hiring except temp jobs and there not even giving any hours. Even nursing homes only want PRN. I am going crazy trying to find work, I have even applied as a Medical Assistant and at a grocery store so that I have some sort of income. NO ONE IS HIRING! Any help would be greatly appriciated! Thanks~
