What type of dressing to use for small leg wound?
More information is needed to give better advice. Does this patient have venus insufficiency or arterial (if known), does this patient have Edema a the wound site? Are there more than one wound? I have seen wounds similar to what your explaining (some times there are 7-10 wounds on a leg.) I would use one of these 3 things and change dressing 3x per week. Cleanse with wound cleanser or NS, apply (1) aquacel ag, (2) mepilex AG, (3) adaptic cover with non stick/ telfa, 4x4, rolled gauze, tape.

Salary for home healthcare nursing
I work in OC (CA) and Rn's at my work make around what "suninmyhearts" Do, 57 for a regular (non oasis) and 90-135 for a SOC. Pay is a set rate so no changes for experience so basically those with 1 yr / 10 yr exp. make the same. To the OP, It all depends on the type of company you are applying for, I would suggest contacting medical groups and asking them which HH companies they use, act like a future patient. Once you obtain the names for the top companies, go apply there. Pay will be higher and the company will usually have a good focus on patient care. Good luck
