PEARSON VUE TRICK WORKS!!!!!!! I am known for being a worry wort!!!! And I never believed that it would work. I thought I would be the first one to get the good pop up and then get Quick Results that said Fail...BUT NO! PVT IS KING! It works and I passed!!!!!! Believe people!!!!!

Congrats to you oztizz! :)I have a question! What did the pop up say when you did the PVT? I too took my nclex this morning at 8am! :) I'm currently freaking out bc I'm scared about how accurate the PVT is I got the "Our records indicate that...etcetcetc. Another registration cannot be made at the time." I'm on the East coast- NJ/NY area

Does anyone know if the PVT works in NJ? I still have to wait til Friday for my Quick Results:bluecry1:. Took the exam at 8am EST this morning, got home, saw "Delivery Successful," then tried PVT at 11am and 12pm EST. Got the "good pop up," but I really just wanna know if anyone from NJ/NY area got the good pop up and PASSED. I am shaking like heck right now! ALSO! - I got the "original" pop up message that states "Our records indicate etc etc ...Another registration cannot be made at this time." IS THIS GOOD OR BAD? I've read other posts saying that they've received a different kind of pop up stating that the "candidate has recently passed this exam." How can Pearson have a pop up stating that? What's the point of Quick Results, or waiting for your official results, if a "...candidate has recently passed this exam?" Can someone please shine some light on this? I apologize if this post is annoying, as I know that there are others who've probably asked this same question. Please, anybody! (lol)

Thanks Ashley! I called Pearson, as well as the actual test center that I'll be taking the NCLEX at, and asked them about it. They said just as long as your very first name and very last name match exactly, there should not be a problem. I'll be bringing my Passport with me on the day of the test as my valid ID, but that's what I was thinking of doing: bringing my Driver's license as well, just in case. I just hate going to the DMV, but if anything, I'll go this coming Monday to get it fixed. I wonder if I need to bring in all those documents (6-Point Documents). Ashley, are you from NJ as well? @JustBeachyNurse Thanks so much for your reply! Yeah I called Pearson, and the actual test center to ask about it and they said I should be fine. Middle name doesn't count. With that said, are you from NJ? If so, we don't need to have our fingerprints done in order to sit for the NCLEX, correct? I received the letter in the mail about doing the fingerprinting. I plan to do the fingerprinting right after I take the NCLEX. Is this going to affect me at all? I just havent' gotten around to do it because so much has been going on with studying etc. I read on AN that it'll just be a bit delayed to get my actual license because I didn't do the fingerprints right away. What do you think? I'm just scared that when I go online to schedule for fingerprinting I'll have to wait a long time for an appt :-/ if they're backed up with appts, etc. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

hello all, i'll be taking my nclex-rn within the next 2 weeks in nj. ok, sooo i've been meaning to post about it here on an. on the day of test, we need to bring valid id, ie. driver's license, passport, etc. the thing with me is that my driver's license first name is not exactly the same as on my att. lol -_- when i was filling out my info at the dmv years ago, i didn't think to write the last letter of my first name because my first name is too long to fit on the form. so since then, i've had my driver's license ...missing the last letter of my first name. soooo, i don't know if that's ok to present on the day of the test, since it does not match my att (darn it) i know it's too late to get it fixed bc i know where i am in nj, the dmv can take a long time. with that said, i want to show/bring my passport on the day of the nclex @ pearson. however, the photograph of myself was when i was 17, and i'm 23. so i look a lil different, lost a lot of weight, hair is up to my shoulders (in the pic, my hair is past it). so, i can't really gauge how "recent" the photograph needs to be. i did get my passport issued in 2006, and it expires in 2016. lastly, where's it's stated under "given name" on my passport it says my first name and my mom's maiden name (which is my middle name). however, on my att it just states my first name and my middle initial. is this ok? i know pearson reviews only the first name and last name. pleaseee can someone please give me any kind of information? i really don't wanna be turned away on the day of the nclex! i already contacted pearson via e-mail about the whole thing and i'm considering going to the pearson center tomorrow morning. thank you! any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Hello all! So in the next few weeks I have my first ever interview at a hospital!!! I'm from the NJ/NY area. I graduated from nursing school 3 weeks ago and already have landed an interview! I haven't taken my NCLEX yet but will within the next month or so. I would just like to ask about the Interview Process, specifically the end of the Interview! I have already purchased Thank You cards for the interviewers, one for the Head Nurse Recruiter and the other is the CNO of the hospital!!!!!!!! :) 1) How do I "send" the Thank You card? I read that people say within 24 hours. Do I put a stamp on it and drop it off in a mailbox right away, after the interview or before? 2) Should I write it ahead of time, so that I can hand deliver it to them righhttttt after our interview? I read that people suggest to include specific things in the card that you and the interviewer discussed about so that he/she may remember you. 3) The Thank You card that I bought is not all white with simple "Thank You" lettering on the front of it, it has a blue design on it (but not too crazy!), is that OK? I feel like it'll show that I took that extra mile. 4) Should I give a Thank You card to the Recruiter's secretary? She called me twice in regards to my interviews (location, date, time, etc) and she was extremely nice and helpful! Yay or nay? *Pretty much this is my first time interviewing and I just want to be sure that I do everything correctly!* LOL I appreciate anyone who can share their thoughts/ideas on this! This may even help out new grads out there who are starting to interview in the future! I hope this post will help others! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!! :)

Did anyone have the screen that said "Thank You" on it at the very last section of the online assessment? Did you log out afterwards? I logged out and then that was it.... not sure if I was supposed to see any type of screen etc?!?!? There was no score or anything of the sort at the very end --you all got the same, yes? :uhoh21:

Thanks for your comment. Very helpful. Could I begin the endorsement application for NY, even if I didn't take my NCLEX yet? Or do I have to wait til I take it and get my results? Also, for the courses that I have to take, can I take them now or do I also have to wait? I know, I applied to NJ because in case I wanted to work in NJ and applied to hospitals in NJ.
