  1. I graduated 12-14-12, got my ATT on 12-17-13. First appointment I could get to test was 1-2-13. I took a week long BC vacation from 12-16 to 12-22. You will be fine to test after vacation.
  2. It went well, test stopped at 75 questions ....tons of select all that apply which I hear is a good indicator of doing well. Came home and tried Person Vue Trick and got the good pop up!!!! Thank God !!
  3. I score pretty much the same. I am using ATI, NCLEX 4000 and the NCSBN Learning extension. Sometimes I score better, sometimes worse but usually between 65% - 73%'ish.
  4. I take mine tomorrow. I've been studying 4 to 6 hours for the past week. My school used ATI and I passed the ATI predictor test with 95% chance of passing NCLEX on first try. I know test anxiety gets the best of me so I'm really trying to stay calm, practice as many questions as I can keeping telling myself "I've got this!!"
  5. I agree that you should test WITHOUT looking things up.....how can you be sure of your true knowledge and test taking ability if you look up the answers? I would take note of what you miss and look them up later for clarification rather then during your testing time.
  6. I graduated 12/14/12 and will take the NCLEX in just a few days. I read a lot of the posts about people failing and started to freak out too, however I starting thinking why those people have came here to post......they needed study tips, etc. Those who are "lurkers" on this board and don't post probably won't take the time to post their success once they pass...they'll be too busy celebrating! In all seriousness I think a lot has to do with the school and how soon you take the NCLEX after graduating. I am just dumbfounded when I read about people who have graduated a year or more and are just now taking the NCLEX. Unless they continue to keep their studying up I don't see how it can benefit anyone to wait as long. So far everyone in my cohort who has taken the NCLEX has passed on the first try!
  7. I don't have any tips myself, just wanted to wish you luck. I take the NCLEX next week and have been prepping for months. My school really focuses on ATI, especially in the last term. I have hit the books and questions hard this week in order to help prepare me, but I would love to get any last minute advice or tips others might have as well!
  8. Thank you. Lizzyxpooh I attend a school in Oregon with a current pass rate of 97.26% on the first try. Our school was strongly focused on ATI throughout and we even had to pass the ATI predictor test with a 95% chance of passing or better before the school would release our transcripts to the board of nursing and allow for us to get our ATT. I am very nervous, but I'm trying very hard to focus my attention on study and staying positive that I WILL PASS!!
  9. Hey all, I am sitting for the NCLEX-RN on January 2nd. I have been using ATI and the ATI mobile app on my phone/tablet (which my school required), passed the ATI predictor test with 95% chance of passing on first try, reading from Kaplan as well as using the NCSBN Learning extension 3 week online prep course. I continue to score about between 60-65% on all of my practice exams, however I'm worried it's not good enough. I graduated just two weeks ago from a school that has the highest NCLEX pass rate on the first try in my state, so I know the school has done it's job in prepping me, but I fear my nerves are going to get the best of me. I know my weak areas vs. my strong areas, but worried those weak areas will keep me from getting a passing score. Any suggestion on how to make the most of my next 4.5 days before taking the NCLEX? Also for those who have used multiple study references (ie: ATI, Kaplan, NCSBN, etc) which did you find to be most like the actual exam?
  10. Also make sure to read the Med Surg ATI book from front to back! I know 1200+ pages is a ton, but the content will come from the e-book!
  11. Make sure you read the RN review Fundamentals E-book. Ready it from front to back, the content will literally come from the book!
  12. Congrats enjoy your free time now........there will be none once you start!
