  2. Thanks cnamarieg! Ahh! Lol, I'm sure it isn't me, took my literature course some 10 years ago in Atlanta GA. Pls let me know if you have any questions about the program for next year, I'll be glad to help.

  4. I've resolved to go sit ON the mailbox tonight so whenever my mail lady comes, she really understands that I'm about that life! LOL:( ...the anticipation though:banghead:
  5. I feel the same way KayRussell. Waiting patiently.... (NOT )
  6. Congrats! I'm waiting patiently for my mail too!
  7. Congratulations! You worked hard for it!
  8. CongratuLations! I'm sure you deserve to get in cos you worked hard hard for it! I wish you all the best!
  9. Loved Siesta Keys too! Beautiful and peaceful cos it isn't so crowded so you could have a little picnic on the beach. My husband and I actually witnessed a beach wedding and it was beautiful! Caladesi Island is also pretty nice! Children-friendly too...you'd have to pay to enter the island though but the scenery is beautiful! ....still waiting on that letter though:sarcastic:
  10. Thanks for the calculation scarletJones
  11. theAFwife is correct! I just spoke to a nice lady in admission about that and she was nice enough to call the Dean of health sciences to confirm that the extension is ONLY applicable to Paramedic-RN program. Every other limited access program application deadlines stays the same.
  12. Lol! Enjoying the humor in all these chaos MamaBerry! I'm a devoted stalker; I confess! Lol
  13. ScarletJones, I'm super late for my score. So here: Able2012 3.26/73/transition/west campus i live in Pasco county so I get that 5%! I calculated them though and it was a 77 in ranks! I hope it's good enough! Hang in there ladies. Our patients really is wearing thin but it's all we've got ☺️
  14. Nushca, thank you for sharing your experience; I feel like I have a good idea of what to expect. Thanks a lot!
  15. Cnamarieg, thank you lady. I pray we do aswell.
  16. Hi scarletJones, which program are you trying to get into?
  17. Hi guys, I've also applied for the LPN-RN transition program and I'm keeping my fingers crossed awaiting an acceptance letter. @Nushca, how has the program been so far? I'm sure it's tough but doable. I've read all all the comments on the post and thank you all for all your contributions; I feel a little less "blind" lol. I'm sure because I know I'm not alone in this journey.
  18. Hi, is anyone still in the transition program? Pls give me a little gist of how it has been and what books I'll need. @Jubees, how's the program going for ya? I wish you guys all the best!
  19. Hi justletgo1, I know this post is about a year old, just want to see how the program is going for you. I'm looking to start in August and I would love to connect with those who are in the program. You may send me an email at [email protected]. I'll also add you as a friend! ThanksName Is is Tina btw
  20. Hi, I'm new on this site and I'd love to know more about ITT tech also. They'll take my many credits and lots of loan money but I just want to get done with nursing after getting dumped from a community college 2 weeks to my scheduled graduation :), - from start to finished, very last comprehensive finals which I bumped and left with a 73% average (needed a 75%). I cried but I'm ok to bounce back and get done!
  21. Hi red2003xlt, Read your post about being able to challenge LPN in florida. Pls help me! I'm pretty new to this but I have a similar issue as ****blessed****. In my case, I went through the whole ADN program in Lecanto FL, finished the whole nursing up till NURS IV (the very last semester fo the the ADN), took and passed all the exams and then failed the finals really bad; test anxiety got the best of me . I "dusted" myself up and resolved to just take the LPN exam and bridge to RN maybe later next year. Well, to down my self esteem even more, the dean of my college wouldn't sign that form (page 21 of the application) that say I have met all the equivalent requirements needed to take the NLCEX-PN. According to the dean, even though RN program is much more rigorous than the LPN program, the dean still thinks I AM NOT COMPETENT. I heard you could challenge the exam but I don't know how in the state of FL. Any help or advice would be appreciated! Pls HELP!!!....I'm frustrated and tired of trying so hard.....
