for future reference: got into 2nd round Full-Time Generic. GPA: 3.11 TEAS: 77.3%, TOTAL SCORE: 77.48​.

I just got an acceptance e-mail for full time generic. I will be declining my seat since I already accepted a seat to full time transitional :) so i'll be opening up a spot for someone.

@MiamiE, I waited so long today at the Wellness Center still have to go back to get my drug screening results. wonder if it's better to go right when they open?

@lilsuzy130 I think we get to register at orientation. If you find something out let us know :)

@smbp last year I did the LPN program and they collected everything at orientation. I had the wrong documentation for TB and was allowed to bring it in later. Also, I did my background check at orientation. Then again, things change, so let's see what our e-mails say.

nursea92 , I am not sure, I just know they took my application and said I needed it by orientation.

same here joshsc. I am applying to bridge and I missed the deadlines to apply to other bridge programs for not having my license yet. I graduated this past July from MDC and not until yesterday did Pearson receive a check from the school to allow me to pick a date for NCLEX. We should be finding out soon, good luck

not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but looking back on the 'MDC Spring 2012' thread I saw that acceptance e-mails started going out Oct 21. I guess we should hear something around the same time as well? can't wait to find out

Hello everyone. I am seeking some advice. I graduated July 27, 2012 from a PN program. In order to officially pass at my school we need to pass an ATI Exit exam, and are given 2 tries (if you fail after the 2nd attempt you must repeat the last semester and then take the exit again) I passed my first attempt (99% chance of passing NCLEX); however, out of the 50 people in the program, more than half did not. No biggie, they got to re-take a week before school was finished. Well July 27 came and went, and 15 still did not pass. BUT I DID. So I thought everything was ok and my school would send in all paperwork and payments to the Florida Board of Nursing and to Pearson. My school sends out the checks, but it was paid out of my tuition. It's been 2 months and the FBON is STILL waiting to receive a check from my school. What has my school been doing in the meantime? Letting those 15 student who failed take a remedial course and get a 3rd attempt at the ATI Exit tomorrow (09/26). What have I been doing? Talking up the chain of command and being told that "checks will be sent out in a few days".....I have been hearing this every week since graduating. What should I do? I was told Friday that checks were sent out, but do I keep believing them? What actions can I take to ensure that the school finally sends out my payment?

Did you get accepted? My science GPA is low compared to others as well, so I wondering if I actually have any hope.

so has anyone done the lpn to bsn program at Barry? Im looking to apply and just wondering what it is like

Thank you for clarifying Josh. that gives me a score of 77, hope it's good enough. I have read on other threads that the cut off is usually low 80s, but who knows this time around.

I know we need to calculate: Chem+Lab A&P 1 & 2 + Labs & Micro so that's a total of 7 grades. however, I repeated Chem1033 Lecture (W)... do I divide by 7 or 8? Will this W haunt me forever? :uhoh21: and what about Micro Lab? do they look at that at all?
