LOS ANGELES PACIFIC UNIVERSITY
I graduated from LAPU at the time it was called azusa pacific university college the online university. At the time it was more connected to APU. When I order my transcripts it comes from LAPU. I completed the A.S degree health science because it had most of all the prerequisites I needed for RN program built into the A S degree. I was later accepted to APU ELM RN and APU lvn to RN program. Also was accepted Pasadena City College LVN to RN ladder program, and had no issues. So ended up at Pasadenas lvn to RN was less expensive. The one thing I learned was if you enroll into the A.S degree it's more covered with federal Grant's and financial aid and the pre-nursing certificate was not. The science preReqs werent that difficult they send you a lab kit to your home. Good Look!

Ashworth RN to BSN 2018
Thank you for your response! I'm a new grad RN ADN just accepted a position from a hospital I use to work at as an LVN. In addition with a BSN I will get a 5% raise once I complete it, and the hospital also has a 2k tuition reimbursement. I will look into Texas Arlington as well, I had spoke with a few other schools, and looking for the least expensive yet with proper accreditation. :)

Ashworth RN to BSN 2018
Has anyone went to ashworth university it seems to have the proper accreditation. In addition to my ADN I have a bachelor's in another field, and don't want to spend to much money with the second Bachelor's. Wanting to get my BSN finished less than a year, and really like the cost of ashworth yet not to much info here from alumni. Any feedback appreciated?

@ Hello_Pretty, CNA, LVN Are you wrapping up you'r last semester? I'm really nervous I will be starting the transition course soon on the 26th, and so scarred been trying to brush up on my systems, and lab values. Do they assign you your own patients, with expectation you know what to do 100%? I'm hoping I do ok I work for a hospital I do lots of procedures such as wound vacs, plurex drains, bilary drains, catheters, blood withdraw, assessments, jp drains, etc. Still so damn scarred I hope I can manage to learn & pass the program I'm giving up my job for this so I need to pass. Hope it all works out for you too...and you get to take your nclex.
