I'm at the Houston Open House and just asked about acceptance notification--they said end of October / early November. Generic response!

Hey, I'm with you! Just try not to get excited / frustrated, etc., because it seems that they're going to do as before and keep everyone waiting... We didn't hear til May and that was even after 2 interviews.

We haven't even reached the designated November date. Last semester they said mid-March and we heard May 2.

Not working here.

Csmcjunkins had 2 interviews last semester (for fall 2012) and was still rejected. He still hasn't heard anything either (for spring 2013).

I get the feeling they're going to "2-3 weeks" us until the original mid-November date.

If it makes you feel any better, we just moved and don't have mailbox keys yet. As much as I want to rip into our box, we're stuck with the stupid green circle on MyStar.

It was down for maintenance Friday & Saturday.

Last semester, those denied admission got a mailed letter but MyStar didn't change at all.

And Houston.

I didn't apply to UTMB / didn't get in. I posted a few times here asking for info. :) On his behalf, thanks for the positive words. :)

We haven't heard anything... Csmcj had his 2nd interview on 4/18 and they said 2 weeks.

I hate to ask, but who else is still waiting? We (csmcj & I) are still waiting to hear. He interviewed March 13. I'm so glad this forum is here & that y'all are updating! :) From what I've gathered, it sounds like rejection = mail only? Acceptance = email?

oh good lawd. don't your background checks take ~4 months-ish? They wait any longer and then those will have problems. I know how I sound right now and I'm sorry. I'm trying to find a job there and it isn't going so well--and since they're taking their sweet time, I dunno if I should keep on searching or put it on hold, etc. I guess we're all in the same boat, eh? :)
