  1. Hi all! I just received my acceptance email to the Upper Division but I will probably be giving up my spot because I think I am leaning more towards UF's program. As far as my credentials, other than the obvious essay, I worked my way through school and had a 4.0 GPA. Good luck to the rest of you!
  2. I will be going to UF
  3. Yes, and I think I will end up giving my seat away as well.
  4. Hello everyone! Just thought I would share my information... I am applying for the Upper Division program with a 4.0 GPA and had my status changed to "committee" on May 25th. Haven't seen anything different since! Good luck to you all!
  5. they're looking for*
  6. Oh, and I was a transfer!
  7. Hey jessrei22! I had a 4.0 cumulative GPA. As far as experience, I had to work to support myself so I was not able to volunteer enough to even mention it in my application. I think that UF understands that sometimes people need to work and can't really volunteer. Although I would recommend, through work or volunteering, to put yourself in an environment that promotes the core skills and values that you believe the nursing school will want you to have. I think that's what their looking for. Lastly, if you do end up volunteering or are currently, I was told in my meeting with the advisor that it is more important to be in a position to learn about healthcare (and the core skills and values) than it is to be pushing papers and answering phones in the office. Those types of office volunteering jobs aren't really appreciated because they don't provide you with much. I think that is all the insight I have about the application! Good luck next Fall! Go Gators!
  8. Thank you! Congratulations to you, too!
  9. I am a transfer. I wonder how many spots they made for current UF students and how many for transfers? I am so excited for this program! Now, time to get all of the registration checklist done!
  10. Congrats everyone! How many of you are current UF students?
  11. So today my mail came and I am officially a UF Nursing student! I can not believe it.
  12. Don't worry Gatorgirl28, I am also still waiting.
  13. I'm really sorry to hear that cpimental. Never give up!
  14. Thank you very much!
