  1. Yup, that is right! I work for a MAGNET hospital. The nursing staff is amazing. There is definitely a sense of pride and a culture of excellence at my hospital.
  2. I am a fairly new nurse...graduated with my BSN last May. I work on an interventional cardiology floor and I am (finally) starting to feel comfortable and confident as a nurse. Today I was floated to a transplant floor. I was SO scared! All those meds the transplant patients are on! It is crazy. I even had to do a residual urine bladder scan...almost laughable to a cardiac nurse! Luckily the staff there was wonderful to me. What are some of y'all stories about being floated to different units??

  4. I have the same interests as you. I would like to enter an FNP program next fall, but plan on probably doing women's health. I would love other people's opinions/experience with this too!!
  5. I work in Houston, in the medical center and make $21 and hour.
