  2. I'm about 99% sure they send it through the losrios gmail, I know they are picking from top 30%, how many points did you get on the point system.
  3. Hello, nice to meet you , Currently my status says "application qualified" I know they said we have to wait 6-8 weeks from application deadline so march 14, so from April 30th to May 15 between there we should find out. What is your application status?
  4. Hey I applied to the LVN-RN program @arc, any updates on it yet?
  5. I think you would be able to pick up, my only concern is with the bridge program is the the fact you start the traditional students 3rd semester, it's a challenge but the counselor told me most lvns is not all lvns do well in the program and end up passing the nclex the first time.
  6. Didnt see a Topic for ARC Nursing Fall 2014, any applicants, new information please post.
  7. Thanks everyone!!! Its really a big stress relief, if anyone has any questions as of how to prepare and what not, feel free to contact me. Thank again!!!
  8. How long does it take to receive the further instructions in the mail. E.g pay the processing fees etc.
  9. Definitely study the Saunders book, really helped oh and SATA, means "Select all the apply" questions.
  10. I took the test this past monday! After a stressful month of studying and worrying for the phase that every nurse has to go through, I passed the NCLEX-PN. my test stopped at a 135. I got 20 SATA, 16 meds, 3 Calculations & 2 Drag & Drop. :yes:Glory to God, Glory to God, Glory to God:yes: Anybody know how long it takes to get official results here in California?
  11. Im sorry , dont worry you can take it again, and pass the next try. You are not alone, just because you dont pass does not mean will be a good/bad nurse. But, simply that competency was not met. Lets start by what study materials did you use to take the test?
  12. Congrats !!!!!!! You PASSED IT!!! Can you give us some tips, as to what you used to study and the type of questions?? I will be taking mines this week.
  13. May the Lord be on your side. Take a deep breath, give a prayer (if your religious) haha, and find out.
  14. Maybe look into the electronic stethescopes from Littman or even better call them ask them what could work best for you?
  15. Yes its the Saunders 5th edition for PN, do you guys believe its necessary to read the chapters in the saunders as well or just focus on the questions with the CD.
  16. Thank you St. Claire, I have been told by many that SATA are very common, so I am reinforcing these allot. My weakness is Pediatrics, Mental Health and Obstetrics. So I will definitively work on these areas harder. I have created flash cards, of almost every lab value. However; Also Flash cards for values like Troponin, CKMB, values that are used less. Do you think I should also know these values or should I narrow it down to the main ones like the electrolytes, bilirubin, albumin, and values for the kindeys.
  17. Thank you so much, huh this is so stressful, even my freinds and coworkers are telling me I am a little different now.
  18. I graduated in November 2012, since then never was able to study because I got a bad case of the flu, then other family events that I had to attend. Anyways my ATT came and I scheduled the test for April 1st. NCLEX PN. I have Saunders the new (5th edition) and exam cram 3rd edition. I feel like Saunders is extremely overwhelming. I just don't know where to start from. My question is when you prepared for the nclex how long did you prepare for until the exam like 3 weeks, 1 month etc. I have 3 weeks until the big day, and really have no idea where to even start from. This is a lot of stress on me, I have trouble sleeping and eating. Someone help!!
  19. hey can you email me the 50 pages review too [email protected]
  20. If the charge was when you were under 18, it shouldn't have came onto your record, unless you were charged as an adult.
  21. Its very tough in Cali, especially the community colleges are heavily impacted, if your looking for a program under 15k. This goes for RN and LVN, your best bet is to apply in WA, because your first year you will have to establish California residency, which takes a complete year. The tuition will almost be triple and any of the CC, since they consider you a non-resident. Private may be the best option. Is there any particular area in California you are looking into?
  22. Is the for the nclex-pn or RN. I took a look at it looks pretty accurate.
  23. CONGRATS!!! Could you tell us your study plan? Like how many hours per day, or how many questions did you do per day and for how long? THank You
