  1. Interested in reading the pending feedback because I'm soon to start a periop training course very soon @ a Hospital. I'm also required to sign a contract.
  2. I was offered the job. Thanks for all the input.
  3. Glad its a normal response. I have some preparation time. So I'm very thankful for all the feedback. I'm excited for this opportunity and hope I'm successful on this interview.
  4. Thanks again. I'll contact the person who contacted me to arrange the interview and OR session.
  5. Thanks for the incoming feedback and responses. I was also wondering about the clothing---what is proper attire? So the OR scrubs are provided, of course?
  6. I'm very nervous and am wondering what can I anticipate of the day. What should be my focus, sample interview questions I should ask and/or be ready to answer, etc. Any advice would be great. I've googled and researched, but, I'm also interested in the opinions of those from this website. Thanks in advance!!!
  7. My sentiments exactly. And it's very frustrating, how can one gain experience if not given the chance.
  8. Thanks. I'm about to check athena healthcare systems and apply. I contacted only two hospitals concerning volunteering, both told me to call back in September.
  9. Are SNFs the same as LTC? If so, I interviewed at two but no offer and applied to many many others but heard nothing.
  10. Exactly who knows. I hope you hear back soon. It's really good though you were contacted by HR, in my opinion thats a good sign. Especially since they seem to be holding onto your resume. I'm still without a job been on a few interviews but nothing. Waiting again to hear back from two hospitals.
  11. Interested in knowing if any new grads applied to BAYSTATE MEDICAL CENTER?
  12. Congrats. Praying the best on your first day. It's def a brutal job marketing but with my head up,I will continue the search and applying to places. THANKS
  13. Wow. Feeling like I'm in the same boat. I applied to UConn back in feb, they had a grad nursing job posted. Seeing we're in June and I am yet to hear anything, I was wondering about others. Same nothing with Hartford. And I recently, 3 weeks ago, applied to Yale---too bad about the job freeze.
  14. Wondering if anyone applied to UConn health center or hartford hospital grad nurse residency program? If so, have you heard back?
  15. Took my yesterday. I def know how you're feeling.
  16. CONGRATS! Just did the PVT, took the exam today. Still alittle unsure though if its correct. Def know after the exam, I was feeling horrible, as if I failed.
  17. Just took today. Did the trick and got the "good pop up". So I'm hoping for the same news that this works. This post does calm me down a tad.
  18. Definitely want to wait for the offical results before I celebrate. Guess I'm pessimistic. A lot of SATA. 2 Calculations. Some pharm, more on the bases, if a pt with a certain dx was prescribed a certain med, which would concern you. Majority of questions were prioritization "Best", "First", etc. Some delegation.
  19. K. I'm freaking out after having took the NCLEX. I am not feeling too confident. Actually alittle anxious because I am sure I failed. I did not feel too well while sitting there taking the exam. The computer actually shut off after answering 75 questions. I either did well or totally horrible, but I did something, and I did it very very fast. Anyhow, I did the pearson trick and got the "good pop up" message. I don't know how reliable this trick is but I am hoping it means good news. I am hoping I can relax a bit but won't really be able to until the results come in. Help!!!
