  1. I apologize for responding so late everyone!!! I've been swamped with school work!!! Thanks to ALL of you!!!!!!!!!
  2. Thank you so much X_factor!!!
  3. Thank you! Yes, it is very exciting!!!
  4. Thank you!!! & I most certainly will!
  5. Thank you, SopranoKris!!!!!
  6. Thank you! Ok, the first basic step for me was to make sure I was taking all the correct classes for the school that I was trying to get accepted to. As far as basic classes, I had to take intermediate algebra before I could take College Algebra. All the other classes I took were toward my major. Every school is different as far as the entrance exam. Some require them and some do not. My school does not. It only required that I submit my ACT score.
  7. I got accepted into my FIRST choice! I am sooooo blessed, grateful, relieved, and insanely happy! It feels beyond amazing to have what I worked so hard for. I remember when it was 2011 and I was working so hard to make the best grades. It's 2013 now and the time has flown. I can't believe this. No matter what, don't ever doubt or lose faith in yourself!!!! You WILL get in and make it!! This is only the beginning!!!!!! Ahhhhh! :-)
  8. My General Chem class starts in March!
  9. I second this!
  10. They notify in March. I really should have asked her what the lowest scores were. After she told me the averages, I freaked out.
  11. Good way to look at it! Oh gosh, I'm nervous.
  12. I called the admissions counselor for the nursing school I applied to just to check up and see when they notify people of their acceptance. She said that over 300 people applied this semester and they are only going to accept 80. The average class GPA for the people who were accepted last year was a 3.7. I have a 3.4. The average ACT was a 25. I have a 23. Well...I tried.
  13. You can take CA & Stats at the same time? You lucky girl, you! Lol I wish! At my school, CA is a pre req for stats. You HAVE to take it before you take Stats.
  14. I wish I could take Chemistry as my only class. Problem is that the nursing school I am applying to starts in June. I have no choice. Though who knows what may happen. I am just going to take it one day at a time.
  15. I start on the 14th as well! I am nervous, anxious, and a little frightened. This is my last semester. The classes I am taking this semester are the last of my pre reqs. I have to pass this semester with a C or better (of course) in order to start nursing school!
  16. My friend took A&P 2 along with Microbiology, Developmental Psychology, and College Algebra. She did well in all classes. A's and B's. I say go for it. If the writing class wasn't difficult, then it shouldn't be a load or too much at one time. Why did you drop it the first time? If it was too much then I would probably hold off. Though who am I to talk. I'm taking Microbiology, Chemistry, Nutrition, and Statistics. Wanna switch? Lol! You'll do great!!!
  17. I am claiming straight A's as well!
  18. Don't be scared! Though I can totally understand why you may be. A horrible teacher can make a class 10x's worse than it should be. Since it's Microbiology, which is a class I hear it really challenging, you don't need any factors that will deter you from doing your absolute best! Go in with a positive mindset and if you are having trouble, show the teacher how serious you are about getting an A. Most teachers, good or bad, will more than likely help a student when they see that the student is giving 100% effort! Good luck to you! I am taking Microbiology this semester as well! My class meets once a week as does the lab! It's going to be tough!
  19. I will keep up with it! Thanks!
  20. Congrats to you!!! You are an inspiration as the previous poster has said!!! I wish you all the best!& wow, at the schools you were considering, a 3.75 isn't competitive??? I have a 3.4. Now I am scared.
  21. We wish you the best too! & yes let's keep each other updated!
  22. I was surprised how much I enjoyed College Algebra!! Lol. Are you good in math?
