  1. I also have two new courses in addition to the ones I previously shared that look really helpful for us healthcare workers/providers- COVID-19 Diagnostics and Testing https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/covid-19-diagnostics-and-testing COVID-19 Critical Care: Understanding and Application https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/covid-19-critical-care-education-resource
  2. Thank y'all for your feedback!
  3. Hi everyone, I am a registered nurse in an ambulatory surgery center that is currently shut down. I have been looking to bring myself up to speed on the Coronavirus, management plans, safety for medical personnel etc., and I’ve come across some free courses aimed at medical professionals- COVID-19: Tackling the Novel Coronavirus https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/covid19-novel-coronavirus Managing COVID-19 in General Practice https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/management-of-covid-19-in-general-practice I am wondering if anyone has done these or similar courses? Has your workplace provided you with recommendations on relevant courses to do? Are you aware of any central resource that lists courses for medical personnel? What is everyone doing training wise? Thank you for your time!
  4. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of doing. I want to get my RN and do the LPN to ADN program as well and I think I might move after I complete the one I'm in and then apply to that program where ever he is. THanks for the advice though! Very helpful
  5. Hi, I am attending a PN program in Charleston, SC which just started this semester. I am thinking of moving to Pensacola, FL within the year. My fiance is a 2nd Lt. in the Marines and will be starting flight school there. As soon as he figures out how long he will be there I can seriously start researching and applying. I've emailed one of the schools about my credits transferring to see if my program is equivalent to theirs. The reason I want to move is because I'm miserable where I am and I've outgrown it. Any advice on where to start or how to go about this? Also, I really want to start getting some work experience in offices or hospitals but can only work part time. When I finish on wednesday with my first quarter I will be the equivalent of a CNA and can sign up for the exam. How can I start getting more experience? Thank you! I feel so lost with all this I don't know where to even begin but looking is getting me so excited.
