  1. I agree. Granny maybe you should (could) ease up a little. Don't take EVERYTHING so personal! The jokes, complains, rants whatever you want to call them is just a way for some of us to relieve our frustrations. Now come on this thread is supposed to be funny. Keep them coming folks. I have been cracking my side all morning!
  2. Yes be real careful what you ASSUME about people going to the er for c/o menstrual pain. I too suffer from endo! It is one of the worst misunderstood PAINFUL diseases out there. I am only 28 about to have my second surgery just for this disease. Doc is recommending a hyst, but I would like one more child. I agree with you the pain is FIFTY times worse than childbirth. I also had a natural delivery, no meds 9pds 13oz and I would rather do that again than experience the month to month pains of endo! So FYI to all the Nurses please take our menstrual cramps complaints serious! On a lighter note this is one of the threads that I enjoy reading on a regular bases :chuckle !
  3. I go to clinicals one day out of the week. Tues 7a-7p. I go to lecture and lab on Wed and Thurs. Friday is test day. I go to work on Sat and Sun. I am off from everything on Mon. This scedule works for me. I am abale to study at work between pt and all day on Mon. On Fri I try to take a much needed school break (after the test).
  4. Well I understand where you are coming from. I am in my last year of nursing :) Thank God. I have 3 kids and a husband. If you want to continue to work I suggest just working Sat and Sun. I work Sat and Sun 7a-11p. This frees up my week but still allows me to bring home a decent paycheck. These type of hours are usually available in a hospital setting. Good luck!
