  1. Hi! I'm just new to this site but so far, I've been learning a lot about our profession especially for possible career development abroad. I am currently employed under the RNHEALS (Registered Nurses for Health Enhancement & Local Service) program of the Department of Health. My assignment is community-based where we follow up beneficiaries of the government's different programs. I plan and have dreams of working abroad, particularly in Abu Dhabi. But I am worried that my one year contract wouldn't be of use when I apply for a nurse position abroad. Does anyone know if community nursing experience is accepted for work in Abu Dhabi or anywhere abroad? Thank you so much! :)
  2. Congratulations! :))
  3. Hi anne j! So are you now employed in Capitol Med? I'm currently under the RNHEALS program and deployed in rural areas (community nursing) but I'm trying to search on hospitals esp in the metro where I can possibly apply after my contract. Thanks! :)
  4. There is a chance for everyone but since there are a lot of applicants, the better if not the best ones, will be chosen (based on the evaluation and attitude exam). I was part of RNHEALS Batch 1 as an additional staff (October-December 2011). A national certificate would be given I think issued by PRC, DOH, DSWD and DOLE. Deployment will be this March 2012 and the assignment is one year community.
