  1. Wow!! thank you for that link. Sounds like we have similar stories, but well see if we have the same ending as well...:bowingpur
  2. I had the same issue when dealing with the BON (such crabby attitudes) it didnt help that i graduated 5 years ago. they were a bit ticked off me asking so many question. i explained that i didnt wanna delay my application with any missing documents and so forth.with a little persistency i ended up speaking with ****** the supervisor for Licensure by Examination. To make a long story short, she tells me that i CAN sit and take the nclex without completing the fingerprint but will delay processing my License when i do in fact pass the test..
  3. yes thank you im tryng to stay positive and couting down the hours till i can actually see unofficial results.. id like to ask though, how many times did u do the pvt? did each inquiry lead you to the cc page? i tried about twice couple hours after i took the test and it said successful delivery.
  4. congratulations! im on the same boat as you. had my 3rd attempt on monday. i'll know results tomorrow.
  5. i should be able to pull up quick results by tomorrow auntlala. this is why its even more harder to accept my failure if i did fail. if i failed that means i really bombed the test (all my time and effort just went down the drain) - if i passed then i am one of the lucky ones who can actually prove that pvt is unreliable...
  6. stick to doing questions and rationales. but do remember questions that you had difficulty with and review that content. you just graduated so information is still fresh, just needs a little bit of reviving what you've learned from school.
  7. futurern34, yes i can honestly say that i worked my butt off that is why it was very disappointing to see that awful page! i have spent hours looking online for anything went against the PVT!!! ive only found a few, some on other forums other than AN but those few still give me that little bit of glimmer.
  8. Those are actually on the AN study guide also..
  9. thank you Auntlala, yes i have used ATI in the past. Had to purchase the ATI while in nursing school because our exit exam was based on the ATI. if i did fail. i will have to do a mandatory remedial course and this time around i think ill try kaplan. BTW im doing nclex PN.
  10. finally someone who has gone against all odds! i have been searching, googling about any one who has been lead to the cc page and passed! you my dear is still giving me a little bit of [color=#ee82ee]hope! i know i studied hard did tons of ques. with rationales felt good about the test when i left the testing center but tried the pvt and i just couldnt believe seeing that dreadful cc page.ive read only about 4 others whos had the same experience. atleast there is still that small percentage...
  11. PRAY and stay focused. dont try to study anymore, just READ (go over your notes) not try to memorize...
  12. I took my NCLEX for the third time on Mon. Feb. 20th. I havent done the quick results and will wait till tomorrow to do so to see the unofficial results. I did however do the PVTrick just for kicks but it turned out that it brought me to the CC page.:uhoh21: Now im sitting here wishing that i didnt jump on the band wagon and do so.. i left the test center feeling so good that some how this time around i passed. i felt that the questions were familiar and i was able to answer it without spending so long on a question, and when it came to questions i wasnt sure about that i actually handled it and attacked it with educated guesses. used ABC's. Maslows and so forth to come up with my answers. I would say most of my questions were PRIORITY and a handful of SATA only had 2 pharm calc.which were the last 2 before my computer shut off at 85.. and i remember a question or 2 from the saunders comprehensive that ive used. i was calm and relaxed and focused entering the testing center. i felt that i was focused too during the exam. i felt prepared...but doing the PVT and seeing that dreadful CC page, felt like i just got ran over by a truck... it brought down my confidence level so drastically that im in depression mode now. i took the test with confidence because i know i did everything differently this time around in preparing for the exam. I studied for 3 mos. as the test date got closer more Ques. were attempted i figured the more rationales i read the better for me. so in total i did about 5,000 all from SAUNDERS Q&a 4th ed. and SAUNDERS COMPREHENSIVE 5th. ed. i only used the CDROM from the COMPREHENSIVE 5th ed. because i had purchased it 2 months ago and its the latest edition.the only other material that i used was the AN STUDY GUIDE. i knew all my mnuemonics my labs, etc.. SO IF I FAILED. i really dont know what i did wrong. im still hopeful that maybe the PVT did not work for me. i have read a couple of posts about PVT being unreliable to them. but then again what if they entered the info incorrectly. theres always the ifs and buts vs to the hundreds of threads about PVT working for them. i duno what to think anymore. im too scared to see my quick results.. some one shed some light on me...
  13. I took the test the same day you did.. what state are you from?
