I'm in the same boat.. Im a Community Health Nurse... I'm a patient liason between contract nursing homes and the VA. Assisting with consults, assist with travel, and appts. Work closely with VA SW, and NPs. I make visits to VA contracted nursing homes every 2 months to asses our veterans who is admitted for LTC, respite, and hospice care and rehab..I've been in this position for a little over a year now.. im trying to figure out how do I even write for a nurse ll to lll in this position. My plan B will be to attend one of the million dollar school of nursing, Galeen, Keiser,or Rasmussen College, but I'm not to sure about Rasmussen's accreditation. I would attend st. Pete College, but they don't accept HCC s micro credits and I would have to take one or two more pre reqs. I'm still hoping and praying I get in at HCC, I mailed my letter off today via cert. mail. I know I will be stalking my mail box until April 2.
