I'm not sure what the deadline dates are, but I think your pre-reqs have to be complete when you submit your application. An advisor could tell you for sure though.

I wonder how much extra the tuition would be at Frontier for doing both CNM and WHNP.

40% personal statement, 30% overall GPA, 30% prereq GPA

I know people with 3.9 who didn't get in, and people with 3.4 who did. The latest thing I heard with our entering class (Summer '12) is that GPA is important, but it just gets you into the "to be considered file". Apparently a LOT of weight is given to your personal statement: 1) address any glaring issues (bad semesters, gaps in enrollment, etc.) 2) ADDRESS ALL PARTS OF THE QUESTION (there's like 3 or 4 things they ask you to address).Good luck!

You can absolutely do it!! My undergrad GPA was at the lower end of 3. I did my nursing Pre-reqs last yr at the age of 33, straights As.Youth often comes with recklessness and a lack of direction. You're older and wiser and much more capable of juggling multiple responsibilities than the teeny-boppers

I think we're only in class together the first semester, after that 2 programs split.

Me too!! I'll see you in orientation. As for apartment, the area around USF is full of options, furnished and unfurnished. I would stay away from the ones around Fletcher and 42nd...a lot of loud partying and traffic gets REALLY congested. Also try to stay close to I-75/I-275, it'll help keep your commute to a minimum.

Based on what I've read from the previous posts (and I've been reading them all day) the applicants run the gamut in terms of previous healthcare experience.

Did you end up attending?

Is this still the case? I haven't gotten anything about this.
