I got in!!!!

It may be too late to apply for Valencia's concurrent. But I thinks it's better to apply to the concurrent id u have met all the requirements because if you get in there is no 2 year wait to start. You would start this fall. ( or whatever year u apply for) . I got in last yr but was unable to start because my nutrition credit transferred to UCF but Valencia didn't accept it. Which is kinda dumb because why would they accept me if I wasn't able to start lol

I emailed Austin and got my app. Applied to both on the programs! Good catch I would have been out if Luck

Hey I got a reply " You may apply to UCF and if you are accepted, UCF will provide you with instructions for applying to Valencia."

Anyone applying to the VC program as well?

Well I took the test at Seminole state so I didn't include a copy of my scores but I will call them tmr just to make sure

Okay so I was going over a copy of my app pprwork that I submitted and I noticed I didn't highlight my teas score on my ssc transcript. Do u think this will keep my application from Being considered? If so, should I re submit my application tmr with the teas score highlighted??

I applied to the Seminole state program this past Friday . I applied at the altamonte campus and I was #64

I have applied to this program and I believe that we should be hearing a response in the next 2 weeks. Within the last 2 years they found out on the 14th one year and 29th on the other year.

Well I didn't get an email so I guess I wasn't offered an interview. Good luck to all who are interviewing on the 22nd.

well I finally got through with both schools and they basically told be no because VC will not accept any of my Nutrition courses. UCF should have never sent me the acceptance in the first place! oh well. good luck to all.

ok everyone(UCF /VC concurrent) I need a little help! I have a few questions. 1. Did you all complete the UCF orientation already? 2. I was told I must go to orientation on this friday July 27, but I noticed some of you all mentioned that you had orientation last friday. Am I the only one that was not informed of this? 3. Who is your main contact person because I have some more questions and UCF CON has no idea, and Ms. ****** from VC hasn't really helped me. Sorry for all the rambling, but I feel like a lost puppy right now lol. I am not sure if there is a lack of communication between the people at these schools but I am def. getting the run around right now and I do not like it! I might just have to go up there and handle some things.

WOOWWWWWWW!!!!! so I just got an email that Stated I was taken off the waitlist and accepted into the UCF VCC concurrent program!!!! :w00t: However now I am a little confused. Because Just this monday VCC emailed me and told me I was unable to start the program because my Nutrition course did not transfer, yet today (well last night) UCF told me everything is okay and I can begin! I called them and now I am waiting on a call back. Until further notice, I will be accepting my spot!!! :thankya:

Hey all! this is probably the last time I will be posting on this board. To make a long story short I have a bachelors degree which required two different Nutrition courses, not of which transferred to the course Valencia requires, (which is probably why i was wait-listed). I put in an appeal and it was denied, so according to the adviser I am" not eligible for the concurrent program". So once again congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to those on the wait list.!!

Hey all! A lot has happened in the past few weeks, and I am excited for all of you who will be starting this month. I was accepted into the July 2012 class conditionally (pending completion of Chemistry). however I found out I got in about a week before orientation and I had a lot to do in that week. at that same time I also found out that I was put on the wait list for the Valencia/UCF concurrent program for this fall. at that point I was stuck in a dilemma. I ended up asking to see if I could postpone my application to the Jan 2013 class. So in the event I do not get in the valencia/ucf program i have a little more time to complete my Chemistry and then begin in Jan. (sorry of that sounded confusing or jumbled!! lol)

Does anyone know how many students the concurrent program is accepting?

the deadline foe those who got in the vcc/ucf program to accept their spot.
