I figured this much. My attorney suggested for me not to apply for endorsement until the sunset commission finished. So I'm sitting on all my paperwork just trying to figure out when to send it all in. My situation was not related to nursing never diverted. I got a dui on my day off. I completed all court requirements including therapy, random urine screens for alcohol and drugs along with all the classes. My dui was alcohol related not drugs.

The way I read it everything passed as well. Wondering how it is gonna play out

any idea how the board is gonna implement the changes? I have searched high and low

So anyone aware of any changes? I've read the report but I can't find anywhere that the board of nursing has stated any changes

Thank you all for the advice. As I have not submitted my application yet for endorsement. I plan to this March. i had a medical situation that put things on hold. (A high risk pregnancy that ended in miscarriage at 19 weeks.) thank you all

Anyone can give me some advice on what to expect? My personal story 2 duis, it's been two and half years since. Don't drink anymore. Completed court requirements, looking to tackle tpapn. (Short version) any advice, or what to expect. Please don't bash, trust me I'm aware of the bad decision I made and willing to pay the consequences to get my life back on track.

oh wow now im nervouse.....have you guys ever heard anyone entering into the ipn eval process not having to sign a contract? it was a one time mistake, and trust me not something i ever want to relive again.

Im a LPn and im currently in good standing and have active nursing in my home state. I moved to fl. In aug. and started the process of transferring nursing license, i have been requested to have an ipn eval because of a dui on my background check. can anyone shed some light on what im looking at and what to expect?
