  1. I received my offer in April as well.
  2. I hope everyone's interviews went well!
  3. Thanks so much Candyn! I definitely will talk to my professors right away. Thankfully I have always done well in school. I just hope they don't give me any problems about not having all the immunizations right away. Oh well, I guess I will see this week! Good luck to you with your endeavors as well : )
  4. Thanks! Good luck to you too! I have been killing myself trying to get these prereqs done by September. I really hope it is not all for nothing!
  5. Has anyone had experience with being pregnant and preparing for nursing school? I am due in November and am not worried about handling the course work but just realized that I won't be able to get some of the required immunizations. Does anyone know how the school may react? I am going to speak to them this week but just thought I'd see if anyone else had a similar situation. I am supposed to be clinical ready by September : /
  6. Any updates from anyone? Any word of anything? One week left!
  7. I haven't heard anything else either. I was checking the My Decision page, but now it's closed until regular applicants can view theirs on the 29th. I have no idea if we will get an e-mail or if it will be on that page. If I don't make it off the list, I am going to Drexel. I live near Philadelphia as well and cannot relocate right now.
  8. I'm so sorry! I have to take it this summer, as an accelerated class... I don't have a choice if I want to start my nursing program this Fall. I usually get A's as well, but now I am scared! I hope it gets better for you!
  9. How did you get through A&P 1 without dissecting anything? We did the cat muscles, sheep's eye and brain. In A&P II this semester, we have already done the sheep heart and the cat blood vessels. I think organs are up next. It's really not that bad! Really interesting! I wish we could look at a human cadaver like I imagine they do in med school.
  10. Yeah, it definitely feels like there are a lot on the waitlist! I am sure not many make it off.
  11. ccb1: I am surprised you didn't get in either! At least you have UW and JHU to choose from! You are lucky that you could apply to so many great schools. I had to stick to around where I live. There are definitely great schools around here, but that would have been awesome to apply to those two! Good luck : )
  12. Those that didn't get in, where are you going?
  13. I was wait listed too so I still have some hope, though who knows what the chances of actually making it in from the list are... Congrats to those who made it in!
