Well, I am proud to say that I just passed my CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse). I went to a review course and read thur the core corriculum. But what helped me the most was doing all those sample test question.

As an EMT I had several "abuse calls". As an ER Nurse, I still get to hear about them or witness them. Most recently being a patient drove herself to the ER and demanded the registration clerk to call her an ambulance to take her to another hospital.

We use arm bands as well. Before we got an automated system, we has to hand write them. Needless to say that that was rarely done, except when the patient was admitted. We still don't use them 100%, but it is better. :-)
