I am on our negotiations committee and I am doing research. I live in WA state and I am trying to find current contracts for: Spokane Valley Hospital St Francis (Virginia Mason Franciscan) in Federal Way St Anthony (Virginia Mason Franciscan) Gig Harbor If anyone can tell me what union services these hospitals, I would be greatful! I work per diem through an agency. I know I could pick up enough shifts to work full time. I know other nurses who do work agency per diem full time. I think its a great way to work when and where you want.

I moved to ER after 3.5 years on our Medical floor. Just apply and sell yourself. Then have a great time in your new department.

What do you do when there are no patients (ER), or on the floor when all your pt care is done? I know there are lots of places that these two things never happen at, but I also know there are plenty of places that do have down time when pt care is done.

I am also studying for CEN. I have the app and am scoring about what you are. I also have Sheehy's Manual of Emergency Care and I plan to go through the chapters based on how I'm doing in the app.
