  1. Ocean College in New Jersey. Take Gen Chem online and then the Org/Biochem at Iowa Central.
  2. Take the extra sciences. I don't think having an NP will help. In fact if you applied for CRNA school immediately after graduating NP school, I believe that would be a reason for pause by the selection committee. It would look like you don't really know what you want or are a professional student. The more advanced science classes would make you stand out and letting them know your strong desire to be a CRNA. IMHO
  3. I took the Iowa Central Community College Organic/Biochemistry. Good class with great online instruction. Made an A.
  4. Found out my problem--me! I didn't do the counciling session by phone and fax my resume. I just sent in the application with all the above in November. You MUST fax a copy and have a phone counsel session. I have five years in busy ICU, 3.9 GPA, CCRN, extra science classes. My own fault.
  5. Did you guys even get your self addressed envelope back with confirmation of your application? A friend of mine at work got his rejection for interview email two days ago. I was thinking that no news is good news for the present but now I'm wondering if my app got lost in the shuffle.
